I can feel the hairspray radiating off of this song! Honestly I'd believe it's genuinely from the eighties if I didn't know any better. It's just that authentic sounding. I think most of the time when I hear sounds reminiscing from the eighties everything sounds rehashed. (Harry Styles "As It Was", The Weeknds "Blinding Lights", etc... Come to think of it what's with top 40 songs these days sounding like rehashed 80s synthpop songs anyway?) Anyway fantastic 80s authentic vibes on this song. I wouldn't mind hearing an entire album. She has potential imo.

This surprised me a lot! Admittedly I listen to quite a bit of pop music both pop artists that I find nostalgic and have a soft spot for (Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Melanie Martinez, and Britney Spears) and those I boldly admit my love for. (Cyndi Lauper, Duran Duran, Dead Or Alive) I never expected to be in Miss Martinez's top 4% though.
