Sport's greatest competition is on the horizon, and although I am not feeling that football spirit this time around, I'll still be tuning in to support my team/s and recording the results on a day-to-day basis.

What an exciting tournament thus far! Seeing my little dark horses (Japan, South Korea, and Morocco) make it to the next round was satisfying. I was disappointed with the exit of Uruguay, but it is what it is. They did not have a great tournament.
As for my top 8: Netherlands, Argentina, Japan, Korea Republic, Senegal, France, Morocco, and Switzerland.
As I said, I am very bad at predictions. These 8 are just my favorites based on what I've seen so far in terms of team spirit, passion, and determination.
This is what the reality 8 looks like: Netherlands, Argentina, Croatia, Brazil, England, France, Spain, and Portugal.
It might not be, but I do fancy a final that consists of France and Argentina.
