Resurrection

When Athena opened her eyes again it was still dark out and her ears were ringing . She felt like something was on her face, which is your hand up the touch if she feels something wet, when she brings her hand back down she sees blood on her fingers. She started to cough from the burning feeling in her lungs as she sat up.

She takes her bow off her but sees it snapped in half but she sees she still has her sword and knife luckily her clothes were covered in ashes, her blue sash that went over her shoulder now looked black and her black war paint was smudged.    

She goes to turn a little but stops when pain shoots through her body from her stomach she looks down to see a piece of metal in her side.

"This day can't get worse." She says as she wraps her hand around the metal. "1..2....3." She says as closes her eyes and quickly pulls out the metal screaming a little in pain.

After she wraps her jacket around her stomach to stop the bleeding  she looks around to see only smoke and fire. She looked around to see if she could find Triss. She crawled around and eventually found Triss.

Dead

"No. No no." She cries out as she crawls over to the woman putting her head on her lap. There was blood and dirt all over her. "Please wake up." Athena says as she brushes the hair away from Triss's eyes hoping that they would open.

But they didn't.

Athena cries as she holds onto Triss's body rocking back and forth.
"Your fight is over Triss Kom Trikru." Athena says as she lays Triss down on the ground and stands up slowly wincing in pain as she does.

She starts walking and she can hear other people crying and shouting as she gets closer she starts to see people running around through the smoke.

"Athena!" She hears Tim shout but she can't see him.

"I am over here!" Athena tries to shout back to him but her voice is weak.

She looks around and she eventually see us Tim running up to her making her smile as she walks to him.

"Thank god." He says as he gets to her giving her a hug making her wince in pain.

He pulls back and looks her up and down seeing the blood on her shirt and her jacket around her waist.

"What happened?" He asked her as he pointed at the blood.

"A piece of metal was on my side and I took it out." She tells him and he nods.

He helps her away from the fire where she sees all the injured grounders.

when people notice her they start to surround her. "My queen what happened to you are you okay?" An older woman asked her and Athena nodded.

"I will be fine."She tells them and makes them all go to healers to get checked out.

"Where are Octavia, Rose, Clarke, Indra and Lexa?" She asked him as she looked around she saw Abby but no one else, not even Marcus.

"I have no idea when I came to I started to look for you." He tells her as he helps her sit down.

"My queen." A grounder man says as he walks over, Athena looks up and sees he has medical stuff in his hands. She looks him over to see if he is injured and luckily he is not. "Let me help." He says and Tim and Athena nod letting the man take the jacket off of .

Athena's waist as she pulls her shirt up a little so the man can see the deep cut he starts to clean it and says sorry every time Athena jumps and groans in pain.

"I am going to have to close it now." He tells her with a sad look knowing that this is going to hurt.

"Do it." She tells him and he takes a knife and puts the end in the fire letting it get hot.
