The 48/Inclement Weather

Athena was sitting in her cage as she waits to see what happens next. It's been two days and she has been hanged for blood when they took her for her blood. She was sleeping so there was no way she could fight back.

Tim has told her about the mountain man and how there in Mount Weather which Athena found kind of ironic that the place that was supposed to help them live was now draining her of her blood.

When she did wake up she heard some of the grounders shouting she could understand only some of what they were saying but not all.

"When they come in here you need to act weak and lay down, don't let them know you are awake." Tim tells her as he looks over to the front of the room where there were two grounders hanging upside down there blood being drawn and by now he knows if one of the ones hanging dies the mountain men come.

"Why wouldn't they just take me anyways?" Athena asks as she looks at Tim and he shakes his head.

"We will just have to hope they don't." He tells her as he gives her a sad look he didn't know what to do to keep her safe and he knows that he needs to get her out so she can meet the commander and do the test to become Wanalda and become queen.

"Maybe they should take me so I can fight back." She tells him and Tim looks at her a little in 'aw' she remembers him from all the stories of Wanalda.

She hears scoffs making her and Tim look across from her to a grounder woman that has dirt all over herself with brown hair and eyes as Athena gives her a questioning look.

"Do you have something to say?" Athena asks her as the woman nods.

"How do you think you're going to do that?" The woman asks as the woman looks at her. "You're just a child." The woman says as Athena gives her the figure.

"Well, it's better than doing nothing." She tells her. "Who are you anyways?" She asks her.

"Echo Kom Azgeda." The woman 'Echo' makes Athena glare at her knowing what she did to Rose. "I am guessing you have heard of me." Echo says as she looks at the redirection of Wanalda who is giving her a look that could kill.

"Yeah I have." Athena says as she goes to the front of her cage and looks at Echo. "If I do get out of here and get my people back here to help everyone I am going to kill you." She says in a scary tone as Echo tries to hide the fear in her eyes but Tim just smirks.

When Echo doesn't say anything else Athena moves to the back of the cage again as Tim gives her a confused look.

"What does this mean?" Tim asks her as she looks over at him and sees him giving her the middle finger making her snort.

"It just a way of saying 'fuck you' or 'fuck off' without saying it." She tells him and he nods a little.

"Do you really think you can get out of here?" He asks her and she looks at him with a smile.

"We will." She tells him and he smiles a little. He would love to get out of here even though he didn't have a family anymore but that doesn't mean he wants to die here but he thought he didn't have a choice. "When they get back in here I will make them take me and I will kill them then get you out of there and we will find my people then go to your commander and get my people and your people out of here." She tells him and he nods but she can see that he doubting this plan a little so she sticks her pinky finger though the cage and he looks at her confused and gives her a 'what the fuck' "Wrap your pinky around mine it a way of ceiling the promise that we will get out of here." She tells him and he hesitates for a second but does what she says.

About an hour later the door opens and Tim and Athena look at each other and she gives him a nod as the guard walks over there way and goes to the cage across from Athena she looks at any weapons he has on which is a knife on his belt and a gun on his hip how stupid could you be to bring weapons in here? she thinks as she starts banging on the door of the cage making him turn around.
