Nova sat in the house. She knew that she hadn't let since Sirius had died. She knew how she and Harry had inherited that everything that he had. Nova knew that she had missed him and she knew how hard it was
She looked to see the floo network light up and sighed as she stood from where she was sitting and walked to the fireplace and looked to see Alexis and narcissa and smiled
They had been checking on her every day and she was grateful for that "how are you darling?" Narcissa asked as nova smiled
"I'm okay, I'm not really sleeping when I do I dream of him, of my dad and his death and him dying all over again. I hate it" nova said as she sat down
Alexis looked to her and frowned, she was worried. She knew how nova had fallen into a depression and she didn't blame her. She knew all that nova had been through and how it killed her to loose her father
"Have you eaten. I know that you are going through a hard time but you still need to eat" Alexis said as nova sighed
"I could try some toast"
"I'll make you it" Alexis said as nova nodded
"Why don't you come home, you need your family around" narcissa said as Alexis looked to her and sighed
"I can't. I can't go home. I can't leave here. It's my home here. I can't go around Lucius and bellatrix. I know your my guardian but I'll be seventeen in a matter of months and I want to stay here" nova said as Alexis stood in the doorway watching her
"Of course, I promised your mother before she died I'd do what it meant to keep you safe and if that means keeping you away from those two so be it. Just look after yourself. Sirius wouldn't want this. He may of been a blood traitor but he was always my favourite cousin" narcissa said as nova looked to her and smiled
Nova knew how hard things were becoming and she was glad. She was glad that she wasn't going to be forced to go back to malfoy manor

Nova smiled as she stood into the living room and saw Remus "what are you doing here" she asked as he turned to face her and smiled
"I came to check on you, I wanted to see how your doing" he asked as she smiled
"I'm doing okay, I'm staying here. I can't and I'm not going back to malfoy manor. This is my home and I thought I'd let the order met here still I know what everyone thinks of me and thinks I'm on his side but I'm not. I was a girl who was sorted into slytherin and I'm not ashamed of that. I know what's good and bad and I want bellatrix to pay and Lucius" nova said as Remus smiled
"I know who you are so does your father, he is watching fort you and he's proud of you and for that you don't need to worry, I'm worried of you being alone here though, especially as Lucius knows where you are" Remus said as nova looked to him and smiled
"Then why don't you move in and keep an eye on me there's plenty rooms and I know how your struggling with the war, it would save you some money and I know it's what my dad would of wanted" nova said as Remus smiled
"I think it's for the best your grieving and padfooot would come and haunt my ass for not looking after his little girl" Remus said as nova looked to him and smiled

Nova stood in the doorway of Sirius room. She smiled as she heard Remus behind her and smiled "are you okay" he asked as she wiped the tears from her eyes
He pulled her into a hug and smiled "I know it's not easy but I am here. I am here for you no matter. Your not alone" Remus said as he held her close
Nova smiled to herself as she buried her head into his chest. She knew how things weren't easy at all. She took in Remus scent as he held her close
She knew how he has there for her and she was glad but nova had no idea how things were going to change between the two of them and how nothing would be the same again but with all nova was going through was she prepared for it?
