Nova knew how she and Remus had started seeing each other. Nova knew she was missing her dad. But Remus had taken her mind off of things. He gave her the distraction she needed.

She knew how she and Remus were both keeping their relationship quiet. Not wanting anyone to find out and come between them. She knew it was early days which was going to help them figure out if it was something that they both wanted.

Nova didn't want her father to be disappointed in her for sleeping with his oldest friend. She didn't want to let him down. But she couldn't help how she felt.

They had grown a whole lot closer since Sirius had died. They were each other's comfort. They were all each other had to remember Sirius by.

Nova just wanted to make it work with him. Knowing that if she lost him, she would feel like she was losing her father. Remus had good memories of Sirius. And that made him feel close to her.

All she knew was that she wanted to focus on her relationship with Remus. And focusing on getting through school. She wanted to make her dad proud.

Morning came and she woke in bed. She saw that Alexis wasn't there. She frowned as she realised her cousin had been missing an awful lot lately.

Shaking her head, she climbed out of bed. She quickly got dressed and walked down into the common room. She saw Draco and smiled. "Hey."

"Oh. Now you decide to talk to me? I know what happened to your father. But it wasn't my fault. I'm not part of the death eaters. And you just ignored me for weeks," Draco said.

Alexis sighed. She looked to him. "I know. I'm sorry. I've just not been in a good place lately. I'm sorry though," she told him.

Draco said nothing as he stood up and walked off. Nova sighed. Wishing her own cousin wasn't mad at her.

Nova smiled as she read the letter from Remus. She looked up as Alexis sat opposite her. "And where have you been?" She asked.

Alexis smiled. "You think you're the only one getting some? I've been having illicit sex with our dear potions professor. I have itches to scratch," she said.

Nova groaned. "Lex... be careful. Also. Draco hates me. Cause I haven't talked to him for a while," she told her.

Alexis nodded and smiled. "I know. He thinks you've turned on us cause of what happened. I know you haven't. But he's a little pissed," she said.

Nova sighed. She knew how things were just complicated now. And she felt like she had no one left.

Alexis took her hand. She smiled. "Whatever happens. You've always got me. Okay?"

"Thanks Lex."

Nova went out into Hogsmeade. She saw Remus and smiled. "Hey. I've missed you," she said as she pulled him close and kissed him.

"I missed you too. Are you okay? You seem tense," Remus said. He could tell when she wasn't herself.

Nova sighed. She knew how she was struggling with all that had happened. But would it all be okay for her?
