I Really do Love You

Lisa's POV

I woke up to the smell of pancakes. I sat up and looked at the kitchen to see Luke and Jai making breakfast. "Morning" greeted Luke. "Morning" I smiled back. "Nikki and Linda had to leave they said they were really sorry and that they would meet you at yours tonight" informed Luke "Oh what did they have to do?" I replied, "Um Nikki had netball and Linda had work" he replied. "Oh okay" I responded. I quickly ran to the bathroom and rinsed my mouth out with mouth wash and returned to the kitchen. Jai had set me up a plate with pancakes, covered in syrup and nutella. "Thanks" I whispered. He smiled at me. "Um we were going to do a Daresundays, if you wanted to join" asked Luke. "Sure, that sound cool" I said quickly finishing my pancakes. "I'm going to go get changed" I yelled running back to my house. I ran into my room and put on my black jeans with a white crop top. I gently brushed my long brown hair and decided to leave it down. I ran back to the boy's house. "Hey, do you mind recording" asked James handing me the camera. "Nah, I don't mind," I responded. 10 minutes later we arrived in this isolated parking lot. We began to record; the boys were doing this dare in which they had to skull 3 litres of milk. I unfortunately found out that Beau throwing up was a regular thing. After an hour of filming we found ourselves back at Jai's. The rest of the boys had gone to get some stuff from the shops, so it awkwardly left me and Jai alone. I placed the camera on the table, I turned to see him pointing it at me and filming. "C'mon put it down" I said laughing. "Why" he replied. "Because I look terrible" I yelled back. It was true; the wind has left my hair in a state of total disaster. "No you don't, you're beautiful" He replied making me feel awkward. "Well I better go, I'll catch up with you later" I said heading for the door. "Don't go, we can watch a movie or something" he said grabbing my hand. I let go of his hand and agreed to stay. We sat down and he put in the movie 'This is the end' which was one of my favourites. He grabbed my hand as the movie started, I let go of it and moved away.

The movie had ended and the boys still weren't back. "Um well what do you want to do now?" he asked smiling at me "well I should probably get going" I said trying to avoid he beautiful eyes. "Lisa, how many times do I have to tell you I'm sorry? Ok I know what I did was wrong, especially when I love you" he stopped. "Did you just say love?" I said looking up at him. He froze, I could tell by the look in his eyes he meant it. "Um, I was just" he started. Before he could say anything else I kissed him, I felt his arms wrap around me and hold me tight as his soft lips pressed against mine. I slowly pulled away, "I love you too" I whispered with tears in my eyes.

Nikki's POV

I had just finished netball training when I texted Beau.

Can you meet me right now?

I couldn't hold it in anymore, I had to ask him, ever since we kissed, it had been really awkward. When was he going to ask me to be his girlfriend?

He replied a few minutes later.

Yeah sure, In front of my house in 10 :)

Ten minutes later he was there, I smiled at him. "You exactly on time" I laughed. "I would never make you wait" he responded smiling. "Well, you kind of have, Beau ever since we kissed, we haven't really talked about us" I said getting serious. "Well I was going to wait for tonight but I guess you beat me to it" he laughed. He pulled me close and kissed me. He pulled away and asked "So what do you say, do you want to be with me?". "Nah no thanks" I replied. "What" he quickly responded. "I'm just kidding, of course I want to be with you" I laughed and threw my lips onto his. I had been waiting for this moment and it was definitely worth the wait.
