Lisa's POV
I took a deep breath and jumped in. I felt the cold water press against my skin. I started to swim as fast as I could. For some reason swimming always helped me clear my head and I had a lot of clearing to do. The week had been hard, having to face Jai at school, but I had stopped crying over him. It still hurt, every time our eyes would lock but I had cried too many tears. It was time to move on with my life. After an hour in the pool, I jumped out and took a shower. During the week I had taken a walk because I felt alone and I stumbled across this isolated swimming pool centre. It was nice coming here and having some time to myself. It's like all the things that had happened disappeared when I was in the water.

I knocked slowly; I looked down at my feet nervously. I looked up as Linda opened the door. "Hi" I whispered. "Hey" she said looking down. "Look I'm really sorry" we both said in unison. We both laughed and looked each other. "I'm really sorry about what happened with Luke" I said becoming serious. "It's okay, I'm over it, I heard about Jai, how are you?" She replied looking almost scared of how I would react. "I'm moving on" I said doubtfully. "Well, I'm glad we're friends again" Linda replied smiling."Do you want to come in and watch a movie we can call Nikki, have a girl's night" she said noticing that I looked a bit down. "No thanks, I'm feeling really tired, I think I'm just going to go home and sleep, talk later" I said smiling. I hugged her goodbye and walked home.
I walked past Jai's house and noticed him coming outside. "Hey" he said running up to me. "Hi" I smiled. Surprisingly we had gotten to the point of being friends again. Jai and I were like that, it only took us a week to become friends again, I guess we just cared about each other too much to fight. "Um, I was just going to the hang out with some friends, you wanna come?" he asked politely. "Nah, I'm really tired, don't have too much fun without me" I joked. He laughed and placed his hand on his heart and yelled "Never". I laughed and smiled at him. "Well, I've got to go" he smiled. He began to walk away when he turned back and kissed me on the cheek. I felt myself blush "What was that for?" "Just because" he said walking away smiling. I watched him walk away, as I realized no matter how hard I tried or how far away I stayed away, I'd always find my way back to him.
