Lisa's POV
We rushed through the hospital doors. Tears burned down my cheeks as I saw Linda lying in the hospital beds. I turned to Luke, he was a mess, tears fell down his cheeks uncontrollably. I slowly approached him and sat next to him. "Don't worry, she's going to be okay" I said trying to comfort him. "I love her" he said, tears still falling down my cheeks. "She loves you too, I'm sure of it" I said hugging him tight. Our hug broke, I turned to Jai to see him looking at me and smiling. He had kind of wanted me to keep my distance from Luke, but I knew by the way he looked at us, that he knew we were just friends. The doctor walked out, "you can see her now, but only one at a time" he said firmly. Everyone looked at Luke "You should go first" Jai said directing him to the door.
Luke's POV
I opened the door slowly, and wiped the tears from my cheek. She looked so gentle and small. "Hi" she whispered. "Hey, I said sitting next to her and holding her hand. "What happened?" I said feeling the tears resurface. "I don't" she stopped. "Linda, you have to tell me so I can find whoever did this to you" I said sobbing. "I don't, remember" she said as if she was lost. "The last thing I remember is going for a walk" she continued. I looked at her confused. Was she hit? Did she fall? "This is all my fault, you wouldn't even had gone on that walk if it wasn't for me, you probably wish you had never met me" I said letting go of her hand and bowing my head in shame. She grabbed my hand making me look up, "You are the best thing that has ever happened to me" she said as tears fell down her cheek. I hugged her tight, not wanting to let go. I wanted to know what had happened to her but holding her in my arms and never letting go felt more important.
Nikki's POV
Luke walked out of the room slowly, he was no longer crying. "Is she ok?" I asked. "Yeah she's fine, but um" he started. "What is it?" Lisa asked worried. "She doesn't remember what happened" he replied. We all looked at each other confused. "She doesn't remember or she doesn't want to remember" asked Beau. "She doesn't remember" Luke replied starting to get agitated. "Um it's ok, I'll go call her parents, we should go home" I said getting out my phone. "No, she said she doesn't want her parents to know" Luke said stopping me. "What, why" Lisa asked as if was he was saying was crazy. "She said she can't tell her parents until she remembers everything, she wants to stay here for the rest of the week to see if she can remember" Luke continued. "This is messed up" Jai said sitting down. "Well, I've already booked the hotel for the rest of the week so if she wants to we can" Beau offered. "Are you guys out of your minds, she might have been attacked and you still want to say here knowing it could happen again" yelled Lisa. "Lisa's right" I agreed. "Well, Linda wants to stay here, so I'm staying, you guys can leave if you want" Luke said pissed off. Lisa looked at him as if he was senseless and finally responded calmly "We'll stay for Linda".
Lisa's POV
The doctors had said that it was fine for Linda to leave the hospital, as long as she drank plenty of water and had a lot of rest. We went back to our hotel and everyone was ready to go to sleep, it had been a tough day. The car ride back to the hotel was quiet, it was as if everyone was lost in thought, everyone was wondering, everyone was questioning, the same thing, what had happened to her?
