Heated Moments

 Lisa's POV

I adjusted my school dress as I took my seat on the bus. "Omg, I cannot believe you kissed Beau" Linda screamed. "I can't believe you kissed Luke" Nikki replied screaming. I put my headphones on to zone them out. I couldn't deal with hearing them talk about how happy they were when nothing had happen between me and Jai. Why hasn't  he kissed me? I couldn't stop thinking about it. I was still caught up about what had happen between me and Luke. It's not like I had zero feelings for him but I was happy for Linda and nothing would make me ruin that. I felt someone tap my shoulder, I turned to see this girl smiling. I pulled my headphones off and said agitated "Hi, do I know you?". "No, I just wanted to welcome you to the school, I'm Ebony".  "Oh sorry for being rude I'm just not in the best mood right now, I'm Lisa by the way" I replied trying to fake a smile.

I stepped off the bus with my headphones still in. "Lisa, Lisa wait up" Nikki and Linda shouted. I pulled my headphones out and turned around "What's up" I responded. "What's going on? You were quiet  the whole bus ride here" Nikki asked. "Nothing" I muttered. "Lisa, you can talk to us" Linda added. "Just leave me alone, I said nothing's wrong ok" I yelled. The rest of the day was terrible, I didn't talk to Linda and Nikki all day, and I couldn't hang out with Jai because Nikki and Linda were with him. As soon as I got home I quickly texted Linda and Nikki

Hey guys, I just wanted to say I'm so sorry. I just had a lot on my mind and I was really stressed. Do you guys wanna come over?

5 minutes later Nikki replied and then Linda

Hey, don't worry we all have stressful days

Sorry we can't come over I'm going on a date with Luke and Nikki's going on one with Beau.

I replied

Okay cool, have fun and by the way, I asked my mum you guys can sleepover on Saturday!!!

What am I going to do now? I pulled out my bag and finished all my homework. I decided to go for a walk, I put on a jacket and ran outside. I needed to relax and stop thinking about what had happened with Luke and everything that was going on with Jai. I walked past  Jai's house and took a glance inside, I couldn't believe it, it was Nikki and Linda,they were sitting there watching a movie. I felt the tears falling down my cheeks. How could they do this to me, they lied, I thought we were friends. I raced back into my house, I didn't feel like going anywhere now. I cried and cried until no more tears fell.

"So how were your dates last night" I asked holding back the tears. "Um really good" they said looking at each other. "Ok I'm just gonna say it, I saw you yesterday watching a movie at Jai's, how could you do that to me?" I said, now angry. "Well, it was supposed to be a surprise but we were helping Jai he was really nervous,  he wanted to ask you out after we helped him practise for like an hour and then we watched a movie" they said looking sorry. I felt the tears start to fall "Omg I am so sorry, I can't believe you guys would do that for me, I'm so sorry" I cried. "Lisa, don't worry, if I was you I would be reacting the same way" replied Linda. I wiped the tears and realized what amazing friends I had made, I would never doubt them again.
