I felt the air get knocked out from my chest as her foot slid off the roof.

Everything around me became silent. The sound of men grunting, the ones calling me names, and that one special fucker moaning in pain.

There was an intense pain shooting through my jaw, and thats when I realized I've been punched by a soon to be dead fucker.

The force of the bone retrieved my senses. I knocked my assaulter to the floor with a knee to the stomach.

I stared down off the edge. There was another building hidden through the clouds. It was a almost a foot away from this one.

I look around and I can't find Liliana on it or on the floor beneath the buildings.

There was no way a normal person could jump and fall onto it instead of on the floor, but she wasn't normal. She couldn't be. She was extraordinary.

She was my destruction.

Guess i'm trusting her on this one. Trusting her with my life. It was truly a gamble. A gamble I wouldn't risk for anyone. I don't know where my senses were as I prepared myself. It was like my body had a mind of its own.

"Trust your enemies more than your friends. Your enemies are out to hurt you, that you can trust. Your friends aren't as easily read." My father's voice echoed into my brain.

I step back and run over the edge.

This is crazy.
Everything about this is crazy.

I jumped in the air knowing there was a bigger possibility of me dying than me making it.

The fact that i don't care i'm jumping off a roof and only care if she made it down safely is crazy. This girl has truly fucked my head up.

I have never been exactly suicidal, that doesn't mean the thought didn't come and go. I could never even follow up with my thoughts because it meant leaving Christian the burden. My burden.

The burden of being the first born Kingston.

The sound of my body slamming against the floor on the building evaporated all the thoughts roaming in my head but one.

Her.

My arm broke my fall. That was good for my face but definitely not my hand. The bone has to be fractured or broken.

I turned around and laid on my back to catch my breath. I couldn't breathe. I think my lung collapsed. That or all the air in the world suddenly disappeared from the atmosphere.

It was like a rock was placed onto my chest compressing my chest down. The pain trickled all over my body.

I opened my eyes and saw Liliana sitting next to me. She sat with her head in her hands. It looks like time was going on differently for us.

I begin sitting up and instant pain shoots up my entire body even harder, "Fuck." I let out.

Her head jerks up from her grasp and she scans my face.

I scan hers in return.

I wanted to smile at her unruly hair. She had a fancy dress on. She looked like a lady who drank her tea with her pinkie out. She wasn't anything like that.

She was breathtakingly too gorgeous to even be put into that criteria. She somehow pulled it together anyway.

"You trust me," is all she said. Her voice dragged my eyes to her mouth. Her face looked vacant. Plain. Emotionless, but behind those piercing blue eyes there was something. I just don't know what.
