"Can I just Shoot her?" I asked bringing the glass to my lips.
"No, You most definitely can't. You'll lose face, and more importantly Marcus and your sister will hunt you down till the ends of the earth if you so much as touch a hair on her head." Nick scoffed.
He took a huge swig from his beer nearly downing the whole thing. He holds his liquor really well, or pretends to at least.
Marcus and my sister loved Liliana in some twisted way they all shared. They genuinely cared about each other, anyone who wasn't blind could see that. She wasn't just the head of the organization they worked for. They'd go to war for one another.
"That's ridiculous. You think I'm scared of Marcus and my sister?" Nick's eyes are now fixated above my head as a hand is placed on my shoulder.
"Hello, Dear brother."
I can only hope she didn't hear our conversation. Hope is a lost cause, but there's only so much I can do.
"I'm only starting to tolerate you again after you left me alone, remember that? If you so much as try to harm Liliana in any way shape or form, you'll understand what it means when they say that family is only blood." Her tone was stern, but I knew Amelia would never hurt me. I wouldn't hurt Liliana anyway unless I absolutely had to, so I was safe from my sister's murderous side.
I hate how she might never forgive me for leaving her, but I didn't know what else to do. I was drowning. I needed air, so I ran. I ran as fast as I could and left everyone behind.
Marcus Laughed, "Liliana doesn't need him to hold back. By all means shoot your shot, you'll die before it makes its way across the room."
He was laughing, but I know Marcus well enough to know he was serious. I've never had to fight Liliana before. She'll never be as good as they say she is.
"I hate to say I told you so, but I told you so." Nick drank the rest of his beer in one gulp.
I met Nick when I left. He helped me, and then when I was ready to come back I asked him to come."She switched out the schedule when we were supposed to work together." It was shitty move on her part. It was smart, but useless. I wasn't going against her I was working with her. I was waiting for them to defend her. They come up with the weirdest excuses for her actions.
"It just proved that she deserves Argos more. You couldn't memorize a simple date that was agreed upon in a meeting." Marcus shrugged.
I lost both my best friend and my sister to Liliana Blake. They both stood by her side. I wasn't going to lose Argos to her too.
"I don't need to memorize the date because the schedule exists." My voice was more stern.
"Its just business, don't take it too personally." Amelia smiled. She grabbed Marcus's forearm and walked past us.
"Damn, Why aren't they in Argos?" Nick asked as we watched them walk away.
"Amelia's younger so she finished training after me, but by that time I was gone. Marcus was there for a year, then he left after I did."
"Soon you'll have them back, and Liliana Blake will be a soldier at your mercy." He patted my shoulder.
There's nothing I want more than to watch Liliana Blake beg for my mercy. Beg for me to allow her to continue doing field work. Beg for me not to take Polaris from her. There's just something nice about having someone so used to getting whatever they desired kneeling at your feet.

Liliana and her crew walked into my conference room. She never walks around with her entire unit or even a smaller portion. Its just her, Amy, Marcus, and another two who seem to be a couple. I didn't bother learning their names.
