It was an off day in LA, and Dakotas band was playing a music festival, my period was super late, but I figured it was stress, it was a pretty big festival a few bands we were friends with were playing and I was excited to see some old friends, it was about an hour drive to the festival so we got dressed and headed there, I did my makeup in the car, as I was so excited I loved going to concerts and supporting my baby. We also planned on drinking with some of the bands and their girlfriends, on the way there I asked Dakota to stop at CVS so I could grab a pregnancy test just in case and to make sure, i ran into the drug store and grabbed a test and paid for it, we decided to stop for coffee and I ran to the bathroom cause I had to go, so I took the pregnancy test and waited a couple minutes and I noticed a small second line but it wasn't bright. I threw the test out and washed my hands then bought another to take later.
We arrived to the festive as I got out of the car and went to explore for a bit, I was also freaked out cause I was pregnant but I also didn't know I was pregnant. I went to go hang with the guys in Bad Wolves and their girlfriends were always so nice to me. Especially Daniels wife "Gorl your glowing." Melissa said as she hugged me "I need advice" I said to her as I bugged back "What's up girl?" She asked "So I took a pregnancy test today. And it showed a very light second line, my periods super late" I said to her as she nods "Okay. Take another test" she said softly as I took the test again and there it was. Positive. I couldn't believe it. I started crying as she came in and smiled "Congrats mama" she said hugging me tightly. I hugged her back "I'm gonna tell Dakota after the party." I said as she nods "I'll drink your drinks for you"she said as we all went to watch some of our favourite bands. I watched silent theory play then I went to see bad wolves with Dakota.
Daniel brought me on stage to sing Hear me now as I sang the girl parts as I jumped around as I flipped my hair, you could see a bit of my bump as I finished performing I told Dakota I was pregnant before he went on stage "I'm pregnant" I said softly as he was shocked and almost cried as he hugged me tightly we hugged it out for an bit as I smiled he performed and did his thing.
After the set we headed back to the hotel and I had to go to raw in the morning to give up my title cause I was pregnant. I would be taking the time off, my heart was pounding making the announcement, when we got the hotel, I wrote what I wanted to say, I had Dakota read it and give me his opinion I wanted to wrestle so bad but being a mom was important to me
I could hardly sleep as I had pulled an all nighter I had work, I needed to tell a story and get straight to the point, I went to the arena, I went into hair and makeup, my heart was pounding Dakota was going to be with me for moral support, I had 10 minutes to do what I had to do for my little announcement. I got changed into something cute and I also found WWE wasn't going to re sighing me, so I was officially quitting. I wanted to be 100% with everyone. I finished getting ready

I wore Dakotas hoodie as my theme played I decided to do this alone I kissed Dakotas hand as I walked to the ring, my heart was beating fast as I grabbed a mic "Two things, I need to say, my contract is officially over tonight, and the truth is two things, I'm pregnant and expecting, two WWE didn't wanna resign me or keep me employed while pregnant. I know it's a shocker. But I genuinely am so blessed and thankful for the opportunity I had to leave an impact on the women's division" I sighed a bit getting emotional "This has been my home for 2 years this saved my life and I hope I was able to impact as many people as I have. But before I leave.." I took the title off my waist "I want to personally give this to the hardest working women.. Rhea.." she came to the ring as I gave it to her and gave her a hug. I kissed her forehead as I held her arm up then got out of the ring as I took a bow I was crying like crazy at this point.
I was attacked in hugs from the all the girls in the locker room as I took some photos with them as I posed it was hard to say goodbye to my home this was my dream and it sucked walking away from the company I hung out for a bit and watched the rest of the show, Dakota and I left and made the 6 hour drive home, I was moving in with him and we were starting our life together I felt weird about it everything was going really well, I had a child on the way and I'm getting married to my best friend it was crazy it felt so fast as we finally got home, I was still an emotional wreck, we got out of the car and I went inside I removed my makeup and my hair extensions I felt so much better with my short hair and no makeup I laid on the couch as I closed my eyes
"Baby.. you look sad.." Dakota said as he ran his fingers my hair "I feel lost, I miss wrestling Dakota I still wanna be a mom & wrestle" I said to him as he looks at me "You can still do both, find another company that will hire you, your a strong woman who is amazing in the ring" he replied as I dozed off on our couch
