Ivory celebrated with her team as they were handed their trophy while the crowd of students cheered for them.
Ivory made went with Idell to the library, tonight Ivory was becoming a nightshade. When they arrived in the library Idell pulled a certain book in the shelf which revealed a door.
"Wow, how cliché" Ivory said to Idell making her laugh. The rest of the nightshades were behind the door. The group heard someone else entering, everyone was already here so who was it?
They all put their hoods up when they saw the intruder, Wednesday. Kent went to go and put a sack over her head and Ivory laughed to herself knowing it would take more to scare her off. They stood around Wednesday in a circle and Bianca called out in a mysterious voice.
"Who dares breach our inner sanctum?" Wednesday wasn't convinced. "You can take the mask off, Bianca." The group all took their hoods down and masks off, Wednesday rolled her eyes seeing her sister joining in with this stupidity.
"Wait, I preferred you with it on." Ivory sniggered making the group give her a death stare, she mouthed a sorry. "How did you get down here?" Xavier asked her. Ivory knew she was a smart girl and it probably took her zero effort to find this place, it was pretty obvious to anyone who grew up with a family like theirs.
"Rowan showed me." she looked down to her jacket, "Left pocket." Ivory walked over and grabbed a drawing from her pocket, it was her in front of the quad burning to the ground, Ivory raised her eyebrows and looked down to her sister.
"I tracked the watermark to the Poe statue, Then I solved the riddle."
"Wait, there's a riddle, I thought we just snapped twice." Kent asked making Ivory and the rest of their group sigh.
"Well, aren't you the brightest in the bunch?" Wednesday replied to his stupidity.
"The Nightshades are an elite social club, Emphasis on elite." Bianca said smugly.
"We have roof parties, campouts, the occasional midnight skinny-dip." Ivory was already bored of being a nightshade, starting to think maybe trying to impress her mother isn't worth it.
"I say we invite her to pledge." Xavier called out, it was a good suggestion, but Ivory knew she wouldn't go for it.
"Let me save you the trouble. I'm not interested in joining." Wednesday said looking at her sister, knowing she didn't really want to be here either.
"Actually same!" Ivory called out smirking at Bianca. She went to untie Wednesday but saw that she had already untied herself.
