Ivory woke up in a hospital bed. She looked down to check on her wound. It was healed, already. She got up from the bed and saw a bouquet of flowers, hydrangeas, next to her bed, there was a note with them. 'When you are better, come and visit me - Xavier'. She smiled holding the note between her fingers. Their kiss couldn't escape from her mind. She ran over to the window opening it and climbing out, luckily she was on the ground floor. She set off on the long walk back to the school, once again.

As she approached the school, she looked up and saw a banner with the words 'parent's weekend' on it. She sighed, this was not the best time for her mother to be coming, but Ivory also had a lot of questions for her.

She snuck up to her dorm and got changed into her school uniform. She walked out to the quad and stood in a corner watching Weems speak.

"I realize most of you have heard about the unfortunate incident involving two of our students." Weems said, making Ivory look down trying to hide.

"But I'm happy to report that Eugene is on the mend and is expected to make a full recovery, and it seems, Ivory has had a very speedy recovery." Weems looked over at her, so did everyone else. Ivory smiled, leaning on a pillar, until she saw her mother glaring at her.

When Weems was finished speaking, Ivory slowly approached her mother and father. She gave Pugsley a hug, she truly did miss him. She turned to her mother.

"How have you been darling?" she said giving her a hug.

"Well, other than being attacked by a feral monster, I'm fine." she said giving her mother a sarcastic smile.

"Lets go have a girl talk!" Ivory said taking her mother away from the rest of her family, up to her dorm.

"You should really try cleaning up your side of the room darling." Morticia said, kicking piles of clothes to the side.

"Mother, something is happening to me." she said sitting her mother down on the bed. "A couple of days ago, i woke up in the woods, covered in blood, i had visions i was being stabbed!" she said. Her mother stood up shaking her head, ivory grabbed her hands to calm her down.

"What is it?" she asked her mother.

"I feared this could happen." Morticia said sitting her daughter down.

"You have pyrokinesis, the ability to control fire, people desire to have that and it is stated that if you sacrifice someone who has it, the ability will be passed on to you, but if the person isn't sacrificed in the proper way, they can gain all sorts of power, like telekinesis for example." Morticia said, Ivory froze, she didn't know whether she should be happy or upset, she could finally fit in with the rest of the outcasts.

"Grab me that lighter." Morticia said pointing to her dressing table. Ivory walked over and returned the lighter to her mother.

"Now, think of something that makes you angry and try to use your powers." Morticia said holding the light. Ivory stared at the flame, trying to think of something that would anger her. Suddenly, the flame grew bigger. She smiled in excitement, this was amazing.

"Now try to channel that same anger, and use your telekinesis."

Ivory did it again and the lighter flew out of Morticia's hand.

"And seeing how fast that wound healed, you must be able to heal quicker." Ivory hugged her mother.

"I'm happy for you darling, but you must not use these powers for the wrong reasons." Ivory nodded. She walked towards the door.

"I've got to go and find someone, bye!" she said running off.

Ivory found Xavier looking down at all the families. She ran up to him putting her arm around him.

"Why are you in such a good mood." he laughed out turning to look down at her.

"I got your flowers!" she said smiling, he smiled back. "So, what did you want to talk about?" she asked him. He looked down, sighing.

"What are we Ivory?"

"I never thought I'd be saying this but, that kiss last night made me realise that i really like you Xavier."

"Why don't we take things slow." he said holding her hands, looking down at her.

"I would love to do that." she said smiling up at him.
