The team was in the air on a helicopter within just over an hour of the initial call Price recieved. Laswell informed them that the girl's cell phone was last pinged about fifteen miles out of a small town, where satellite images showed the cartel had a small warehouse off the roadway near the water. The odds of her being there were high, so the team was dropped off a mile away in order to get in without being noticed.
Ellie had thrown on a ghillie suit in the chopper, and had a sniper in hand. She and Ghost were to remain a bit aways, hidden in the brush to clear out any people they could outside of the facility while Gaz, Price and Soap headed forward to find the girl.
"The heli will be available for your extraction on your call," Laswell said as the team reached the edge of the treeline about two hundred yards away. Just across an open field was the warehouse, and the field was surrounded by rocks and a cliff that dropped a good fifty feet into the ocean.
"When you two have cleared out all you can," Price explained quietly, "call us and give us the all clear, and we'll head in to find her."
The two nodded as Price, Gaz and Soap began sneaking through the knee high grass as quietly as they could to a boulder in the middle of the field to wait for the call.
Ellie and Ghost got into position in the brush, making sure to get the best vantage points they could. She rested her sniper on a rock, and laid herself down to get ready. Looking through her scope as Ghost set himself up, Ellie did a quiet count of the building.
"What do you see?" Ghost asked as he settled in and looked through his scope.
"Three in the back by the pickup truck, one on the side looking like he's taking a piss. He's hidden behind some pallets, so if you have a shot, take it. Two more in the front, playing cards or something."
Ellie listened to Ghost's breathing slow as he paused to take a supressed shot. She watched the blood of the guy relieving himself spread across the wall as he collapsed where he was. "Clean kill," she said. "Nice shot, L.T.."
"The two in the front," he replied without acknowledging her compliment as he cocked the rifle. "Pick one, on your shot, I'll take the other."
Ellie aligned her scope two notches above the male on the left. She took a moment to slow her breathing before firing a shot as it paused. The man collapsed, and his companion had only a moment to realize what happened before Ghost took his life away with his own shot.
"Down," Ghost said as they both cocked the snipers.
"It's almost like you know what you're doing, Ghost," Ellie commented as she shifted her sniper to the final three in the back.
"Done it once or twice." They observed the last three hanging out by the pickup, and Ghost added, "I have a shot that will take two of them. You got the third by the bumper?"
"Yup." Ellie adjusted herself to an extra notch on the scope. "On your shot."
Ghost took an extra few seconds before he fired a shot. Ellie saw the two bodies drop and she took her shot right after. The man's body crumpled like a doll, and she let out a heavy relieved breath.
"Well done, Sergeant," Ghost said. Pressing his radio, he called, "Price, the exterior is clear. You're free to advance."
"Copy. Get down here you two."
The three down in the field began to move across the field slowly. As Ellie began to stand, Ghost put a massive hand on her shoulder and pushed her back down. "What the hell?" she grunted as the wind was knocked out of her.
"Stay up here and keep surveillance," he said. "We'll need the extra eyes up here if more come along."
"Price said--"
