Hades POV:

My dad's cold command sliced through the air, "Go get Harper Hayden." The tension in the room heightened as we waited anxiously for Harper, only to hear Hayden's fearful scream pierce the silence.

Hardin, Hunter, and I rushed to her room, finding it eerily empty. Panic set in as Hardin interrogated Hayden, who was now in tears, holding a note that left our world shattered.

The note, penned by Riley White, Harper's biological sister, confessed to being a burden and apologised for the disgrace she believed herself to be. Harper revealed her departure, expressing regret for causing distress and pleading for forgiveness. It was a gut-wrenching moment for us all.

Shock and anger surged within me. I glared at Hardin and Hansel, contemplating if they were the reason for Harper's sudden departure. The last paragraph of the note fuelled my rage as I read about Hardin and Hunter's perceived dislike.

Despite the emotional turmoil, I remained composed, unlike my father, who seemed lost after reading the note. No tears slipped from my eyes, and I questioned why, while Hardin, Hunter, and even Hansel showed signs of distress.

The uncertainty surrounding Harper's disappearance left me suspicious of everyone, including my brothers. Frustration built up as my mum fainted, relieved only when Hunter caught her. Dad regained composure, issuing orders to address the crisis.

As each family member played their role, my responsibility became clear. I had to stay strong for my family, especially my mom. I felt a sense of duty to support and protect them, no matter what.

Eight hours later, in the IT lab, we struggled to decipher the missing code related to Harper's disappearance. The uncertainty weighed heavy on us; Harper was vital to our family's safety and success. We had to find her at any cost.

The realisation hit me; I had to be there for my family. A determination to unravel the mystery and bring Harper back fuelled my every action.

Hunter's excitement broke the tension, "I've found a signal!" We rallied, ready to retrieve our sister, knowing that the journey to find her had just begun.

The text exchange brought both relief and new questions. Harper's safety in New York puzzled me. Despite knowing she was safe, the circumstances of her departure remained unclear.

Harper's response, while prompt, left me bewildered. The revelation of a son named Henry stirred confusion and curiosity. Why was she in New York, and who was Henry?

The frustration boiled over as Harper blocked communication, leaving us with more questions than answers. Anger surged through me, mirrored by Hardin, as we vented our frustrations on the wall.

Hansel entered, seeking an explanation for the unfolding drama. Hunter tentatively offered a theory about Henry being Harper's son, adding to the complexity of the situation. The mystery deepened, leaving us grappling with the unknown, determined to bring Harper back home.
