This has nothing to do with the actual story! Just decided to do something for Christmas, though it might be posted a little late since for Christmas I won't be home and won't have internet. Though, I might post it before Christmas, but who knows. We'll just have to wait and see! But I love ya guys, bye! - Bella ( - Bella is my new sign off!)
It was Christmas Day. (Y/N) had just awoke from their sleep, it was around 9:00am. There wasn't much to wake up for. They had a Christmas tree up, no presents. What's the point anyway? They didn't live with anyone else, so there was no point in getting anything. They'd usually just buy things they wanted instead.
But this year was different. This year they had someone. Someone to give gifts to. That person was the one and only, Laughing Jack. Crazy, I know. How could someone get with someone who literally traumatized them? Don't ask me cause I have no clue. But that's not the point. The point is, (Y/N) is going to spend this Christmas with Jack.
(Y/N) climbed out of bed, obviously they didn't want to. But they had to. They looked around the room, it was plain, but somewhat decorated with a few Christmas things here and there. Soon enough, they heard a knock on the door. (Y/N) opened it. They hit the ground, a heavy weight was on top of them.
"Ow! What the fuck Jack?!" They sighed, but Jack only laughed. "What? Can't I have a bit of fun? Plus, your face was priceless!" He continued to laugh. (Y/N) decided to just let him get it out of his system. His laughter died down. "But anyway, how are you today?" Jack smiled wide, his sharp teeth showing.
"I was fine until you decided to attack me." With a small laugh, Jack pushed himself up and off of (Y/N), holding a hand out to them. "Let me help you then!" (Y/N) took his hand, he lifted her up off the ground. "Guess what, today's Christmas!" Jack threw his arms up in the air to show his excitement.
(Y/N) laughed. "Yeah, that's right. Today is Christmas. You seem very excited!" They gently shoved Jack off and stood up. "Of course I'm excited. Now, come on so we can finally open the presents!" Jack pulled me by the hand, dragging me to the living room where the Christmas tree sat.
"Sit down so we can open them! Here's one from me to you!" Jack made me sit down before pulling a present out from under the tree. "There, open it!" He shoved it into my hands, eager for me to open it. I carefully unwrap the gift, finding a small music box inside. Though inside the music box were two small figurines, one of Jack and one of you. They'd dance if you wound it up.
"I love it! Thank you so much, Jack!" I set the box down, tackling Jack into a hug before pulling away. "Glad you like it." He smiled brightly. "Oh! I have something for you too!" I take a small box out from under the tree and handed it to him. He took it and started to unwrap it. Soon enough, it was completely unwrapped.
{Narrators POV:}
Jack stared at the gift. It was a handmade Christmas themed card, something to show how much Y/N loved him. It had the words, "Ho, Ho, Ho. Oh, how I love you. You shine brighter than the snow that lays on the ground, brighter than the star that lays upon a Christmas tree. You are my everything. I love you so much."
Jack was unsure of how to react. He loved it, he really did. He was just so shocked. "So? What do you think?" Y/N smiled brightly. "I love it!" He didn't know what else to say other than that. There wasn't much to say, considering no words could explain how he felt. Jack pulled Y/N into a hug, gently kissing them.
Y/N stood up, looking around. "Well, wanna go outside? There isn't much to do." They went over to the window. "And it's snowing!" They went back to where Jack was, awaiting his response. "Sure, why not?" Y/N immediately ran to get some warmer clothes on, ones that would fit the freezing cold that would consume them the second they stepped out.
Y/N returned soon, obviously excited to play in the snow. "Alright! You ready?" They looked over to Laughing Jack. "Yeah, I'm ready." He walked outside, getting hit immediately by the cold winter. Y/N followed closely behind. "It's cold, huh?" They went farther out. "Sure is." Jack closed the door behind him, looking around.
"What's so good about snow anyway-?" His words were cut off when he was hit in the face by something, something cold. He looked over to Y/N, only to see them making something. A snowball! Y/N had thrown a snowball at him. "So that's how it's gonna be? Okay then, bet. Better be prepared cause this cool dude has something coming for ya!"
He was hit by another snowball, but he made one and quickly threw it at Y/N, causing it to hit them. Y/N went behind a tree, deciding that they needed something to block the snowballs. "Wait! Let's call a truce, no more throwing snowballs! Let's do something else instead?" Y/N put their hands up in the air, signaling that they give up.
Jack sighed. "Fine." He set the snowball he was about to throw down. Y/N bent down and started making a thick wall out of the snow, one big enough to cover most of their body but not all so they'd still be able to throw. Once they finished the snow wall, they made another snowball. "Hey, Jack!"
Jack turned around, facing Y/N. But before he could face them fully, he was hit by a snowball. "Oh, I thought you called a truce?" He made a snowball, throwing it at Y/N, only for them to duck behind their new snow wall that was like a shield. "So that's what the truce was for? So you'd have time to make a shield? That's so not fair!" He threw another. "Whatever!"
Hey guys! Turns out I finished this a little before Christmas. Specifically on the 23rd, meaning Friday. Christmas is Sunday, but I guess I'll release it sooner than Christmas. Better than waiting later, right? Also, ignore the fact I literally posted this so late. It's 1:43am for me right now. - Bella
