Chapter 21: Scavenger Hunt

Laura's Pov

It has been three days since they made up excuses to not hang out with me. Even Raini and the girls makes excuses to not hang out!

Well, except for Rocky though, he has been the only one who has been there for me. Which is really wierd since we have never been this close before.

"Hey Laura." Rocky greeted, joining me going to the cafeteria.

"Um, oh can we um, uh," Rocky said whispering the last part.

"Um, not to be rude but, what did you say?" I asked politely, while seating down at our table where we usually seat.

"I said, after class, can we go to the beach? I think I left my flip flops there." Looking at his bag while explaining. It looks like he is talking to his bag.

Weirdo.

"Um, sure." I hesitantly said.

The others usually come and join me to eat. We actually do it everyday, but somehow today is not one of those days they hang with me like we usually do everyday.

Atleast I have Rocky.

I look at Rocky and find him talking to his burger. Saying some stuff like 'hello baby, miss me?' Or 'don't worry I'll never eat you.' And kisses it.

Okay, nevermind. I really don't have anyone.

"Rocky I give up. Your flip flops are not here!" I said annoyed that Rocky made me go to the water to let me find his flip flops. And plus, it has been hours since we started looking for the stupid flip flops.

"No! Not yet! We seriously need to find it! Or else they will have to throw away my socks with cheese! I don't want to let them throw away my babies." Rocky worriedly said.

I look at him weirdly and said, "Are you sure you are they're brother?" I asked reffering to the other Lynches. "And what do you mean 'They'?" I asked again quoting the last word.

Then suddenly, Rocky had a panic face and said, "Um, it's non of your business and just go to the restroom. There." He said pointing to the restroom beside a coconut tree.

"But, I don't need to--"

"No buts! Now go!" Pushing me to the restroom. Sheesh, pushy much?

When I went to the restroom, I found a note taped in the door that says;

'If you are Laura please read this, but if you are not Laura, beat it! Don't read this! This is the police, if you ever read this, I swear I'll bring you to jail.' I chuckled a bit from the note.

'Anyway,see the bag in your left?' I look into my left to see a beach bag which looks like Vanessa's. When I look closer it is Vanessa's! Okay, what are they planning?

'There are clothes inside for you to wear, since I know you won't be confortable with this adventure. Hope you enjoy this!

P.S. sorry about Rocky.

P.P.S. if you are not Laura and you read this whole letter, you're introuble. While you were reading this, I told my friends (the cops) to go and look for you in the beach. Your fault, for not listenning.

I picked up the bag from my left and change into the outfit they gave me. I haven't bother to throw the letter, just to see the person's reaction. If they're going to read it, though.

The outfit was a baby blue lacy dress that ends above your knees about two inches. And some brown sandals.

I quickly change into them and fix my light makeup. After I was done, I went out from the restroom to find a woman, about in her 40s, reading the letter I left still sticking in the door.
