Chapter 8: Asking

I entered the school's hallway and it was just on of the usuals.

Fighting, gossiping and more.

But it changed when I heard a

"YEEEEEESSSSS!!!" well someone sounds happy.

I turned my head and noticed it was just Hiccup with an exciting looked.

He spotted me and run towards me

"Hey Hic" I greeted him with a smile, but it didn't reached my eyes.

"Hey Astrid" he greeted back "So what'd with the mood I asked"

"She said yes!" He exclaimed. I was confused at first but realized what he meant.

"Y-You mean M-Monica?" I asked him a bit stuttering.

"Yeah she said yes" he looked at me as he grabbed my shoulders with a big smile.

"Sooo you used my advice to win over her?" I asked "Yeah and it worked" he said.

Of course it works she just wanna date popular guys that's all.

"Good for you..." I told him with a smile but it was fake.

"So when you'll ask her out on a date?" I asked

"Probably this weekend and I need advice from you" he said. Wait what?

"Me?" I looked at him with one of my eyebrows raised.

"Yeah sincrd you'd helped me with winning over her now for the date to make it successful" he explained.

"Oh..." Is all I say. The bell rung and every student started going to their classes.

"So I'll see ya then?" I asked. It's Tuesday today and Hiccup had a different schedule so we'll be separated.

"Ya" he says as I smile and turned around to walked to my classroom.

"W-Wait!" I turned again and then I feel arms wrapped around me in an embrace.

I realized that Hiccup is hugging me! What should I do? Should I hug back?

He has a girlfriend remember

Just hug him!

My arms were placed at the side and I just slowly hugged back.

This is just a friendly hug right?

Hiccup let's go of the hug and looks at me with a warm smile that makes me melt to the core.

"Thank you" is all he said before he turned and left.

I was left there dumbfounded trying to process what he had done a while ago.

I sighed and head to my class.

I know I haven't updated in a while due to my studies and sorry if it's short.

I barely had time with my book the only I do in Wattpad is read.

I might not be active in a week due to Quarterly Assessment/ Exams.

The pain in the neck like heeeeeelllll.

But then a week after that it's founders and it's 1-2 week vacation for us so I had at least time to update
