"What's wrong with you?!" Master Ako was letting her anger out on Khi and Ancelle—but mostly Khi—by yelling.
I couldn't imagine how she felt, finding out that her son had gotten into a fight, as I'm not a father. Although, perhaps one day I will be.

Siofria flashed a smile in Elbereth's direction.
"Perhaps one day, I will be able to give you a little elf," she announced, touching her belly.
Valka, Margoth and Rhistel all paused for a moment as they realized Sia basically confessed that she wanted to sleep with her boyfriend already. The question of how long it'd take for them to have a baby crossed Margoth's mind. She guessed not long after Elbereth was fully healed and living it up in his fancy manor. Then she remembered the fact that Elbereth considered him to be a respectable man, and thus would likely want to wait to have sex until after they were married. And Margoth had no doubt they would eventually wed. In her—and Valka's—eyes, they were perfect for each other.
Elbereth didn't think too much about the fact that Sia admitted that she hoped for a long life beside him as he said, "Will you please stop interrupting me?"

We stood idly by as Zuvuli and Dorian recorded each side of the story, hanging our heads in shame. Even though I really had nothing to do with the fight other than insulting the bloody hell out of Ancelle, I was still remorseful.
Dana kept mouthing words to me, asking what happened. I couldn't really explain. If I spoke out of turn, Zuvuli would ask me to shut up. Either way, I had nothing to say...nor did I want to say anything. I might have simply gotten in trouble if I told Dorian and Zuvuli what I had said to Ancelle.
I tried to drown out the sounds of Khi and Ancelle's voices. Khi was trying to explain to his mother and Dorian at the same time, which wasn't working as Master Ako kept interrupting. Dorian and Khi kept giving her annoyed looks. Ancelle was recounting to Zuvuli about what went down before Niona showed up. I'm glad she showed up when she did or Khi might've turned the fight into a bloodbath.
"Ay, ay, ay, boy," I heard Master Ako say, complete with a shaking of her head. I believe one of the worst feelings in the world is having a parent be disappointed in your actions...which I'm sure is exactly how Khi was feeling in the moment.
I opened my ears upon wondering what kind of lies Ancelle would tell Zuvuli. I could only guess a number of things. Ancelle was a pathological liar, always twisting things to make it seem like someone else was at fault. Luckily, not many of the adults in Ettrail believed a lick of what she said.
"So you're saying, 621370, that 711492 and 611417 attacked you, is that correct?" Zuvuli asked, scribbling Ancelle's testimony onto a notepad. Master Ako and the druids had postponed class so we could figure out what happened and what sort of punishments would need to be dished out.
"No, I said Elbereth verbally attacked me and Khi physically assaulted me," Ancelle corrected in a snide tone. Then she touched the tips of her fingers to her cheek, caressing the bruises, likely to see if they still hurt.
"What did 711492 say to you?"
"I don't remember," Ancelle avowed.
"Well, that's not helpful," Zuvuli muttered. "Do you remember any of the words exchanged between you and 711492 or even you and 611417?"
"I don't know, Mr. Zuvuli," Ancelle pleaded for him to just take what she'd given him and leave it at that. I could only guess that her adrenaline rush and shock of Khi pouncing had caused some memory loss. The real shocker for me was hearing Ancelle refer to Zuvuli as "Mister". I could only guess that she was already in a heap of trouble from previously in the week so she was trying to be respectful.
