I sighed and readied myself to exit the resting chamber, and there he was again staring at me within the entryway. I was stunned, but quickly kneeled before him. How I hoped he did not see me ogling myself. My cheeks warmed at the thought.
It felt like forever before I heard his firm footsteps coming towards me. I looked up at him, meeting his gaze, his face still wearing that same mugging expression, as if I was a pebble caught in his sandal. Without a word he ordered me to stand and follow after him.
His white silk, jeweled cloak glided against the wind as he walked with his hands behind his back. He walks rather powerful. His long legs strided down the hall, I found myself struggling to keep pace. He stood well over the temple entry ways, his height equivalent to a middle aged child standing upon my shoulders. He was a large man indeed. We reached what seemed to be our destination, allowing me to enter first, I stepped in carefully, and before me is a cluttered mess of a chamber filled with the valuables of the temple, and many artifacts. It was a chaotic yet beautiful sight.
The colors on the stone walls, the depictions painted on the vases, and pottery.... I could not help, but let out a sad sigh.
"You will be given until noon, then you shall be gathered for your mid day meal." I simply nodded, and bowed, as I trembled at his voice. It was smooth like honey, deep as the nile, firm, but yes soft as a lily. Without another word, and a stare, he left. Once again.
