I dock the ship, and head home. After. Long day of sailing, my hunger grows. I walk to my house, and open the door. Mother made pasta for dinner. The same one I made on the ship. As I sit down to eat, tears well up in my eyes. I blink them back, and spoon some of the food onto my plate. I slowly pick up a piece with my silver fork, and place it in my mouth.

Memories flood in my brain. I made the pasta with Leo. When we brought it up, captain William said, " better than van's cooking." I remember trying to commit suicide for being known as the maid. Leo saved me. Then my leg nearly got bitten off. I swallow the pasta, which sticks to my throat. I grab the mug of water by my plate, and down it, trying not to choke.

A knock on the door startles me out of my trance. My father goes to open the door. I know the voice that is speaking. Dennis. But what is he doing here? Both men rush to the dining area.

" Julie! There are armies of Pirates, ready to take you away. You have to get out of here!" I stand up. Pushing my chair back, I grab his wrist, and pull him out the door with me.

" Where are you going?" My mother calls.

" Away from here!" I shout. She starts to yell, but I don't listen. We run to the docks, and I grab my ship, untie the rope, and jump on. Dennis reluctantly comes on. I start sailing away, away from this place. Maybe, I'll go to another Isle. Give myself a fake name. That will do.
