Timeskip two years later....

One evening, The male was scrolling through his phone gallery looking at the pictures he took with his ex. He couldn't deny that he has lost the feelings he had towards her. Then, why did he break up with her? He doesn't want to open up about it to anyone. Perhaps, it's a secret?

Scrolling through the photos, every single fragment of memory flashed in front of Childe's eye. The reason why the photo was taken, when it was taken and where it was taken. This photos also reminded him of Lumine's caring nature. Her warm comfortable hugs. Her soft lips, her beautiful golden hair.

As Childe was scanning through his memory lane, a knock on the door interrupted him. The knock repeated a few times as he replied to it

"I'm coming! Please wait!"

Childe rushed to the door and opened it to see a boy around the age of 17 to 18 who was short and had black hair with green strands.

"Childe?"

Childe stood there speechless looking at him. After a few moments he replied,

"Xiao....?"

Childe replied as he still stood shook. He moved a bit to let the boy in. The young male walked in. Childe closed the door, he told Xiao to sit down on the sofa as he sat down beside him.

"It's been, three years Childe, where were you?"

"Hey Xiao... I was where I was supposed to be"

Childe said as he handed over a glass of water to Xiao. Xiao nodded his head as a gesture of thanking the male.
After a breif moment of silence, Childe broke the silence and spoke.

"I heard that... There's gonna be a National 7 aside tournament this year"

Xiao nodded and spoke

"And that's where you come... We need you."

Childe let out a sigh and said

"Xiao... It's been two years, I put down my stick and stopped hockey. She brought me into this and when she left... I had no choice."

"You're an outstanding player... Childe we need you... For 4 consecutive years we have been losing to Snezhnaya in the finals. It's really embarrassing for our team. Lumine would have even forgot you. Please don't leave hockey because of this."

Childe looked at Xiao. The teen's face was filled with sorrow. Childe pat his shoulder as he looked at him and said

"When is the selection?"

"The day after tomorrow"

Xiao said.

"I'll be there..."

Xiao gave Childe a faint smile. A smile which was filled with hope. Xiao left Childe's house. Childe walked into his room as he closed his eyes. Going to sleep.
