Lucy's P.O.V
A memory of long ago dances in my unconscious head. A birthday party, mine to be exact. When I'd turned 18, the entire guild was ecstatic of my coming of age. A boy with spiky pink hair ran up and lifted me off my feet, hugging me.
"Congrats, Luce! Hey, come by my house later. I got you something but I forgot it," He said, holding me close.
"O-okay," I had stumbled, my cheeks a deep rose color.
Natsu let go of me, and held me by the shoulders. He kept repeating something I couldn't make out. His body seemed to be fading away now.
"Natsu..? I don't understand! What's wrong? I love you, please don't leave me!"
And like that, I woke up on the hard ground, Wendy's hands performing healing magic as I lay there.
