A Dragon's Last Roar

Chapter 3

Hiiiii okay so I'm really excited, cause someone said my story was really good and I was happy the rest of the day. Lucy feels KAWAIIIIIIII (*･ω･)

Natsu's P.O.V

The dragon lifted me up like I was a rag doll and threw me at a tree. The back of my head slammed into it, but the dragon wasn't done. Acnologia's long talons tore into me, piercing my heart, everything. I spared one last look at the dome, Erza and Gray still protected Lucy's sight, but Lucy had gone limp and was being held by Gajeel who looked less than pleased. Thank you, goodbye. I thought, and closed my eyes.

Nobody's P.O.V

If only someone had had their eyes open while Natsu was dying they would have seen where he had gone. Now nobody would know where his body disappeared to.

Erza's P.O.V

I had to punch Lucy to silence her, but the second I did I felt bad; it was hard enough without her screaming. We watched as the dome faded, along with Mavis. The horror was plain on everyone's faces as they watched Acnologia writhe in agony.

"His body..." a tiny voice trailed off.

Levy looked up at me, "Erza where's his body?" I frantically searched the area for the pink-haired boy's body. Nothing. She knew the dragon didn't eat him; in the prophecy it said humans were like a poison to dragons. There was only blood and torn up clothing. My hand flew up to my mouth, and I let out a wail not nearly as pained as Lucy's. Many of the Fairy Tail girls were sobbing and hugging each other. The boys however were staring at the dragon and the remnants of Natsu.

"Damn it, Natsu!" Gray yelled out, tears falling down his face. Gray crying was unheard of. Even Gildarts stared wide eyed at the dragon, his mouth open in horror, thinking of the small pink-haired boy.

Levy was crying, but she and Gajeel sat down together, Levy gathering Lucy in her arms and crying. Gajeel hugged Levy, and prayed that her sobs woud stop soon, her crying was hurting him.

Nothing would ever compare to the pain in everyone's hearts today. Erza wondered quietly how she would tell the rest of Fairy Tail about Natsu's departure from the world,...but on top of that...she wondered where his body was.
