Chapter 4

Erza's P.O.V

The ride back home was quiet. Occasionally someone would sniffle, since everyone was still in a daze from the earlier events. Levy and Gajeel sat next to each other, her blue hair flying in every direction. Lucy sat propped up next to Levy, the side of her face purple where i had hit her. I winced, feeling bad all over again. Out of nowhere Lucy's voice rang out and was deadly as it whispered, "You let him die."

"Lucy-" Gray tried

"YOU LET HIM DIE!" she was screaming at the top of her lungs.

"Stop it please, Lucy, oh stop it I can't take it!" I cried out.

"No, you LET HIM DIE AND I'LL NEVER FORGIVE YOU, NEVER!" I fell to the ground, sobbing all over again. Lucy screamed at all of us to go to hell, and I realized she truly loved Natsu.

"Solid Script, sleep," Levy said, and Lucy fell limp again. Happy, who no one had heard a word from since the incident turned around, his eyes huge and teary. He ran to Lucy and curled up on her stomach, crying.

What am I going to do? How will I tell the guild? This is all my fault. It's all my fault. I should have known!

Gray's P.O.V

"It's all my fault!" Erza cried out, "she's right, I killed him, how could I have let him do this, I'm so stupid."

"Erza, stop it, we all agreed to let this plan go through," I said quietly

"How could I agree to that? Why would I? How did I not know how much he meant to us?"

" Erza, if this is what Natsu's destiny was, he performed it well, and he really went down like a Fairy Tail wizard should. Natsu was an amazing wizard, and we will never forget him," Master Makarov said, choking back tears.

"No, why did you let him do this?" Erza cried, she was really getting hysterical.

"Sleep!" Levy called in Erza's direction, and I caught her before she hit the ground.

"We will gain nothing by sitting here, crying over Natsu, he wouldn't want that. He would want us to keep going, living our lives like Fairy Tail wizards! Now as I said, he will always be remembered by us, in our minds and hearts." With that everyone's sobs quieted. Laxus' hand raised in the air in the sign of a number one. Slowly everyone else's hands rose in the air like his.
