The whistle shrieked.
And Emma gasped as the team shrieked with excitement. They won the match. She won the match.
She was suddenly up in the air on shoulders of her teammates as they chant her name.
A wave of relief and satisfaction washed over Emma as she realized she'd done justice to the efforts of the team. Dripping little drops of sweat she walked to the changing room with her team.

It was a bright day with warm sunshine and cool weather in Violet City.
Perfect for a picnic in the Wallflower Gardens, Emma thought, as the light breeze struck her in the face.
She stood near the railings of the terrace balcony of her school waiting for her friends to join her after changing.
Smelling as gorgeous tulips and fresh as dew; Shirin had taken a long warm bath after the exhilarating match.
The match had drained her but the bath was the highlight of her day as she felt content and satisfied.
They'd done the school proud. And being their winning ace; the responsibility had fallen on her shoulders.
Nothing truly lasts, thought Shirin. Wondering how her life had turned around in a span of just 7 months made Shirin gawk at times. From falling so low to soaring so high. From being so desperate to having it all. From being so unloved to be basking in praise. From being nothing at all to having it all. Her life had taken a 360 turn
And as, T-Swift says, though the journey was hell. It brought her heaven.
But that is a story of another time.
Today is the day when this princess would meet her prince. That just made my heart skip a beat !
~ quite literally.
