Chapter 6

Esmerelda's POV

The girls all went to their assigned rooms and I went outside looking up a the sky signing. I had a bad feeling that something was going to happen. I then went into my room and looked at the ceiling closing my eyes and slowly letting sleep take over.

Fawna's POV

Natalie had already fallen asleep and I smiled at her sleeping peacefully just then there was a loud bang as two ogres broke through the wall and Natale woke up wide-eyed and scared as the two of them ran at us just then Azari and Flare ran into the room. They had heard the commotion science their room was right next door.

Natalie jumped in front of me and held up her hand shooting vines at one of the ogres knocking him backward. Azari shoots fire at the other one and the two of them keep fighting eventually disappearing in a cloud of black smoke.

"What the hell just happened with the smoke," Azari said and I looked at her worried.

"They must have had a mage that teleported them away that is the only way," I said looking at the three of them. By now everyone else was in the room with us and I explained what had happened. After that, Natalie and I were shown to a new room and we both went to bed hoping to get some sleep without anything happening.

The next morning I woke up and saw that Natalie was not there I walked out of the room and down to the kitchen where I found Natalie and Violet had made breakfast. I could not believe how much food there was on the table. They had made pancakes, waffles, hash browns, eggs, toast, fruit salad, Coffee, jucie, and a bunch of other stuff.

I sat there wide-eyed as the others walked down into the kitchen with the same expression on their faces. They all sat down as Natalie and Violet brought over one last bowl of what looked like sausage and gravy with a plate of biscuits. I could not believe that they had made all of this it was insane.

"Thank you so many girls you did not have to do this I could have made breakfast," Missy said smiling at the girls. They just nodded smiling at her and we all started eating. I could not believe how good it was everything tasted too good I was so glad that Natalie was my master and that I was her guardian.

After we were done with breakfast we all went outside and split up to train. I and Natalie went into the forest where I showed her how to use her bow and arrows along with the basics of her magic.

One month later (Missy's POV)

The girls had gotten into a schedule rather quickly and we had all agreed on it. They would wake up and have breakfast a seven and then from eight-thirty to ten they would train with their guardians then we would have a lesson about the monster and their powers from ten to twelve when we would break for lunch. After lunch, they would spare and practice with each other until around five when they would have free time till we ate dinner at seven. After dinner, we would all hang out until bed which was at ten.

We were all talking around the fire when I heard a car coming down the driveway. We all stood up grabbing our weapons when the car parked and the door opened and Natalie and Violet's mother stumbled out covered in blood. I ran over to her helping her to a chair as Violet got to work healing her wounds

That is when we heard a noise and all of a sudden we were surrounded by monsters and all the girls got ready to fight. I could tell that this was not going to end well and at least one of us was going to get really hurt.
