Chapter 8

Violet POV

I woke up and walked into the kitchen to get some food because I had a feeling that this was going to be a long day. That is when I heard a loud bang come from Hollow's room. I ran over and broke down the door. What I saw scared me. Hollow was floating in the air and her eyes had gone completely back. Her dark magic was taking over. That meant that someone was trying to control her.

I quickly ran over and hit her with my light magic. Thankfully that was enough to knock her out of whatever trance she was in and Kaylee flew over to me and hugged me which was weird because she was a ghost and I could not exactly feel her.

I smiled at her as she thanked me repetitively and then she said that she was going to help Hollow put up blocks so it would not happen again so they would be late for breakfast. I nodded and went back out to put on a pot of coffee.

Missy and Esmerelda came out and smiled at me as the others came out with their gardens. I made sure to check that Valintinas' wound was ok and there was nothing wrong with it. I wanted to make sure that she was ok. After I was done with that we all ate breakfast and Kaylee came out and explained to the others what had happened before going back to the room where hollow was resting.

I told the others that mine and Natalie's mom would not be waking up till later so it was best to train and I would call them when she woke up. I then went into the room with her and made sure that she was ok and that there was nothing else that I could do.

Valintina's POV

My and Lacey had gone to train but I was distracted. Lacey noticed this and ran over and hit me on the top of the head. I looked at her and smiled. Lacey was so adorable she was short, maybe 4'10 and the little pigtails in her pink hair made her even cuter.

"Why are you not listening to me? This is very important information" Lacey said and I just nodded still not fully paying attention.

"Uh-huh. Yes, I am listening don't worry" I said. She looked at me and seemed to realize that this was not going to get her anywhere because she sat down on the ground and I sat down next to her.

"What's up, are you worried about Hollow or are you upset about getting hurt yesterday?" She asked and I looked at her smiling. I was glad that I had her. She was always able to see what was wrong.

"Both but not just hollow I am also worried about Natalie and Violet. I might not have known them for long but I feel like we have all become family and I am worried about their mom not being ok and it breaking them. Especially Natalie. Violet has known about this all but Natalie knew nothing and her dad already disappeared she can't lose her mom too. I don't want it to break her" I said and Lacey smiled at me. Natalie was like that baby of our new family.

That was the main reason that I worried about her so much she was the youngest and I wanted to make sure that she is still knew that she was awesome and could do anything. She seemed to be scared and insecure about a lot of things all of the time.
