Her Billionaire Stalker

Chapter One

What a glorious Friday evening. Nothing it seemed could dampen Juniper's mood. She just left the bridal shop from having the final fitting on her wedding dress. In three months time she would be marrying the love of her life. The one and only Mark Jones. Mark hasn't been very involved in any of the wedding details but Juniper understood because he was working hard to provide for their future. She had no reason to doubt him since they had been together since their sophomore year of college at the age of 19 and they were both now almost a year out of college. Her and Mark didn't live together because Juniper was a little old fashion and refused to live with or sleep with a man until she was married. So they had separate apartments. Knowing she wouldn't see Mark until tomorrow afternoon because he was working overtime, Juniper decided to stop in at the restaurant he proposed to her at and eat some dinner. Pulling open the door of the restaurant Juniper was in for the shock of her life. 

"What the Hell." Was whispered by Juniper as she watched her Mark hug and kiss another woman after receiving congratulations on their engagement from the woman's father. Mark was cheating on her. Juniper may be a quiet and shy girl but she was nobody's fool and refused to take this insult laying down. With purpose in her step, Juniper walked over to the table and watched as shock registered on Mark's face when he saw her.

"Juniper! What the hell are you doing here?"

"What am I doing here? I think I should be asking you that."

"Mark, my love, is this the woman you told me and my father was stalking you?"

"Stalker, Mark? Really? Why don't you tell her the truth." Juniper turned to the woman before continuing. "Let me ask a question. How long have you and Mark been together?"

"Six months. You need to leave my fiancée alone."

"I am going to make one thing clear. I am no stalker and Mark is a lying cheating piece of shit. You have been together for six months. We have been together for almost four years and engaged for the last nine months. We got engaged in this very restaurant and they are set to cater the reception. The wedding is in three months time."

"I don't believe you. Mark is the most honest and caring man I have ever met."

"You can believe it or not. That's your choice but I can prove it." Without saying another word, Juniper pulled out a small photo album, that contained some copies of the pictures taken by wait staff the night they got engaged as well as the actual engagement photos, and threw it on the table. "If these photos don't prove it to you then you deserve to be with this cheat. Mark, just know you will be hearing from my lawyer."

"Why would I need to be hearing from your lawyer?"

"I will be suing you for damaging my reputation with your stalker lies. I will also be suing you to recover money from expenses I have incurred planing what  was to have been our wedding." With that Juniper turned a round to leave but not before taking off her engagement ring and throwing it in his face. Juniper quickly left the restaurant and didn't even register the faces of the other patrons she passed. She quickly made her way home, not even realizing she had dropped her purse on her way out next to the table of an older gentleman who had observed the whole exchange.

The older gentleman picked up the purse but didn't go after the woman. It wouldn't have been smart. His name was Henrik James and he was one of the richest men in the world with a net worth close to $125 billion. He didn't want his first  interaction with Juniper to be because of pictures of him chasing after her appearing  in tabloids or on the news. Juniper had caught his attention the moment she walked thru the door. Her petite frame and long red hair fascinated him. He wanted their first interaction to be from something of his own design and not because of her discovering a cheating ex. Speaking of her ex, Henrik turned to the table so he could observe the  aftermath. 

The other woman was flipping thru the photos that Juniper had thrown on the table. With each picture she looked at the whiter face became. The whole time Mark tried to say everything was a lie and that he only wanted to be with her and that he would never cheat. The woman didn't respond and just showed the pictures to her father and his face became red with fury. Henrik had a hard time not laughing when the woman slapped him and threw her engagement ring in his face before leaving with everyone but the father. The father got in Mark's face telling him he  is fired and not to show up at the office because his things would be shipped to him. The father then left Mark standing there in shock. 

After a few minutes Henrik saw rage take over Mark's face as he looked down at the pictures that were left on the table. He instantly felt that Juniper  might be in danger because of Mark's rage, Henrik opened Juniper's purse to get her address before contacting his security detail. Placing a quick call, Henrik arranged for someone to keep an eye on her place until he could get other arrangements made for her safety. Juniper didn't know it now but  Henri, vowed to love and take care of her for the rest of her life. She had fascinated and caught his attention the moment she had walked thru the restaurant doors but he had fallen in love with her the moment he caught sight of her emerald green colored eyes as she stormed out those very same doors. He rim swiftly made his way back to his condo and spent the night making and executing his plans.
