Moving in was... oh who were you fooling. That is the most bloody backbreaking, infuriating task you've ever done.

Wanna know how much LMN movies romanticize things, one thing for certain is those damn moving day scenes.

It looks way too easy.

You slumped down to the ground and reached for your water bottle as a box here and there lay about screaming to be unpacked. For the most part, you were done, but you didn't get the chance to look around and at least get to know the people who you will now consider your dorm members. Friends maybe?

You walked out of your dorm and looked to your right to find the entrance to the dormitories. Down the ramp and you'd make it right to the student parking lot.

Convenient.

You looked to your left to find a mini lounge area, along with a few dorm doors on each side. A burning fire inside you wanted to knock on a door or two just to introduce yourself but the introverted soul you possessed said to hell with it.

Hell no.

You slumped into the lounge chair that had a slight rock to it as you began typing out messages. You were about to hit send till you felt your chair slightly jolt causing you to look up abruptly to a smiling face.

"Oh shit my bad, from the back of your head I thought you were someone else!" He spoke in a worried mess and chuckled out a laugh.

"Oh... oh! Your fine no worries! I guess it's nice to meet you?" You held out your hand and he shook it fondly and sat across from you.

"So I take your new? What year are you?"

"Technically third year, I'm a transfer student." He smiled and crossed his leg.

"Congratulations on making it to the university then." You laughed and fumbled with your phone a bit.

"Thanks, hopefully, I can keep my golden record."

"Golden record huh? You must be one of those study freaks, Mikasa is a lot like that." You looked up at him, tilting your head in confusion, was she in this unit?

"Mikasa?!"

"Yeah, you know her?"

"Pfft. Know her? I've been friends with her since we were kids! She's the one sharing a dorm with Sasha right?" A lightbulb inside the young man flicked right on the minute you had stated this.

"Wait... oh fuck, pardon me then, Mikasa has told me so much about you. Really she has, your... [y/n] right?" You nodded with a laugh.

"And you are?..."

"RIGHT SORRY!" He held out his hand and you shook it again laughing. "Jean Kirschtein, but you can just call me Jean."

"Pretty name!"

"Oh, you think so?" Jean replied with a smile and you nodded.

"Yeah, until I find a perfect nickname to annoy your ass." Jean sighed until a sudden ear-piercing yell could be heard. Though that ringing voice was all too easy to figure out. You poked your head from the corner of the wall and watched Sasha and Mikasa walking down from their dorm. Mikasa was too busy fast typing on her phone and Sasha had a steamed bun in her mouth.

"Hey ladies!"

"Oh look it's Jean," Mikasa stated as she looked up from her phone with a smile. "You still annoying-" She looked over and saw your smiling expression almost dropping her phone.

"Oh so your not going to text me that you already got here?" The three girls squealed happily, yourself included, and embraced in a much-needed hug. Jean, felt out of place.

"They sell the best-steamed buns here, they are so-"

"Sasha is going to flood your ears about food, that's not the issue here!" Sasha huffed at Mikasa's statement and looked at you with a smile.

"I'll get you one next time I go."

"So how's the unpacking."

"I'm procrastinating." Mikasa laughed as Sasha pulled out her phone.

"Hey, you know I do feel a little out of place." Mikasa eyed him and laughed.

"He says that as if he doesn't gossip just as much as us." You couldn't help but snort from her statement and point towards your dorm room.

"Listen, my dorm is right there I better get unpacking again so I can enjoy my first week before classes start."

"Hey you do you, it's not at all affecting me!" Mikasa stated as Sasha nodded finding her happy place on the lounge chair now hunched over watching movies, steamed bun still in her mouth. Jean leaned over on the armchair and watched quietly.

"Hey, one more thing!" Mikasa who had already turned around heading for her dorm looked at you confused.

"Yeah?"

"By any chance, do you remember where the library is?"

"OH! Do you know where the health office is?" Sasha chimed in waving her half-eaten steamed bun.

"Oh yeah, what about it."

"Library is Right next door you can't miss it."

"Bingo," Mikasa stated and walked into her dorm.

"Thanks a ton, I'll see you guys when I get back!" Jean and Sasha waved goodbye and continued gossiping about whatever movie piqued their interest.

You walked down the steps of the dormitory and slowly skipped along towards the health office, music quietly playing through your earbuds.
