A week slowly crept by. Your classes had been going quite smoothly aside from the realization that the teacher of your fun elective class happened to be a complete asshole. In your favor since he was, in fact, a selective Asshole. Being quiet seems to have its perks. Or it could've been the fact you have respect for classroom policies but hey your no critic. You looked at your apple watch eyeing the time.

2:00 PM.

Just 30 more minutes and you're out of there. Apart from you being bummed that you didn't get the chance to hang out with Eren, it wasn't like he flaked out. He stated that it was something dealing with his family that he had to attend to. You understood completely and didn't push the matter. Instead, the two of you decided to just go this weekend. It worked out quite well since by the looks of it, You wouldn't be having much homework that'll make your head spin. Soon you watched as the teacher stood up and smiled.

"That ends our lesson. Please be sure to write a paragraph on the differences between acoelomate, pseudocoelomate, and coelomate. Wouldn't want you guys failing our first easy quiz." You watched as the students around you stood up and soon you shortly followed them out the door. You waited by the door to the class for a while only to find Jean and Eren not far from where you had been talking and by the looks of it, it seemed heated.

You waved in their direction with a smile. Jean gestured a hello as Eren looked over obviously annoyed by Jean's insufferable questions. Catching sight of you his scowl softened into a small smile as he waved as well. You laughed in response and began walking in the opposite direction, a student from your class briskly walking after you. Eren took notice and huffed, looking over at Jean.

"Sour ass attitude you got there. Why are you looking at me so tough."

"Didn't it seem a bit weird how that random ass dude just ran up on her?" Jean shrugged and Eren sighed in irritation. He walked away from Jean and began following you through the crowd of students.

"Hey! Hey, wait up!" called out a semi-recognizable voice. You turned to see a classmate. You gave him a small as the both of you walked down the steps gingerly and towards an open courtyard on campus. Eren was not far behind. "So, I was wondering would you maybe want to grab some coffee later maybe this weekend, and study some more on that pop quiz we've got coming up?" His small smile was adorable, but you knew for a fact you had plans.

"I would, but I already have plans with someone and I'm not the person to flake." You laughed and looked over to see Eren walking over to you. "It was nice seeing you though! I'm sure we will be able to another time."

"Alright, just let me know next class if anything changes." He waved you goodbye and began walking down the steps towards a hillside area of the campus. You looked over at Eren who placed his hands neatly in his pockets and slouched over standing beside you.

"I wasn't eavesdropping but-"You laughed cutting him off and began walking away and pulled up a random cat game on your phone.

"Really? It was obvious you were like c'mon you didn't think I wouldn't notice you walking after us?" He rolled his eyes and walked a bit faster to catch up to you. He slung his arm around your neck and pull you in.

"Maybe I was, maybe I wasn't."

"Oh my fucking god you were!" You smiled and he finally laughed.

"Okay so maybe I was, what was he asking you anyways?" You stopped walking feeling the weight of his arm pushes down on your shoulder.

"Honestly? Just if I was free for some coffee this weekend, but I told him I had plans... y'know with you?"

"I mean it's just coffee."

"I know but we already have plans. Besides we're going to have so much fun. I'll catch up with him another time..." The two of you began walking some more until you looked at the time and sighed.

"Something up?"

"Going to Sasha's place for a study meet with her and Mikasa."

"Oooh? Sounds fun."

"I guess." He looked over perplexed by her response and laughed.

"You guess? Something bothering you?"

"I can't explain it, I'll talk to you later tho okay" He shrugged and waved you goodbye. He watched you soon dwindle from his vision only to have another individual run up behind him out of breath.

"So... did you tell her?" Jean said catching his breath as he bent down placing his hands on his knees.

"Aren't you a track member, the fuck are you getting tired for horse face." Eren laughed and began walking in the direction of their dormitory.

"Listen you fuck, just yesterday..." He fast walked to catch up to Eren and grabbed his shoulder. "Just yesterday you were berating my ass about how she's the one. She's a sweetheart but you barely know the girl."

"Yeah, after a few dates, we'll see how shit plays off now lay off will you." Jean smiled and Eren looked at him confused.

"Wow, you really like this girl..."

"Don't you have shit to do?"

"Aside from annoying you? Eh, not really. Been smooth sailing past day or so." Eren began to pace his walk faster. He was not having it. The banter between him and Jean grew tenser as Jean continuously pestered Eren about his growing new love life.

"LAY OFF."

"Damn fine, have it your way," Jean stated with a laugh and pulled out his phone.
