Stuck in the Future

The midnight ceremony was rather intense, so many royalties from all over Mobius showed up to the announcement, about Silver's and Sonic's marriage.

Sonic is wearing a black dress that faded into a red at the bottom, black heels, with matching makeup, as well as black elbow length gloves, and a silver rhinestone, perl, tiara on her head. Silver was wearing a matching suit, with a matching crown on his head, both hedgehogs quills were neatly brushed and done up.

They couldn't meet the other royalties, before the two Kings made the announcement, but they were allowed to see each other.

"You look amazing..." Silver said to Sonic, take a hold of her hand.

"You look handsome..." Sonic mutters, Silver rubs his thumb over her hand, "It's going be okay...I'm here"

Sonic looks at the arm band that is on her arm, "I don't want to get hate...cause I'm trans...but with you everyone's opinion doesn't matter" her emerald eyes looking into Silver's amber colored eyes.

The sound of a wine glass was hit, and the two hands turned towards the door way that they are standing behind, Silver held his arm out and she gently takes hold of his arm, when their names were said the two stepped into the light waving at the crowd, the news crew taking live video of the ceremony.

Sonic caught sight of Sally Acorn, and her brother Elias Acorn, as well as the Flame Princess, Blaze Cat, and her sister, Elise Cat.

Sonic saw sight of her friends Tails and Knuckles, which helped ease her nerves.

The Chipmunk, who is wearing a fancy blue dress, and a tiara on her head, a blue arm band on her arm, she made her way through the crowd, to get to the couple.

"Well...I see that you finally went through with you transformation" Sally said with a small growl.

"Excuse me..." Silver said as he pulls Sonic behind him, making the blue hedgehog's cheeks heat up. "I don't think we met before...I'm Silver Vincent Hedgehog, and Prince of Seaside Falls" Silver smiled holding out his hand.

Sally looks in disgusted, by Silver, cause of the news about the Kings having a son, that being Silver. "Ugh...Right...I'm Sally Alicia Acorn...Princess of The Acorn Kingdom in Knothole" she said.

"Ah yes...we get our fruit shipment from that part of Mobius" Silver said, just being nice towards Sonic's Ex, who was rather grateful.

"Silver!" The purple cat greeted, she is wearing a dark pink dress, with gold associated to it, a golden tiara that rests on her forehead with a red gem embedded into it, her sister a dark red cat, wearing a white dress with a two white feather pins in her hair.

"Come Sonic...I think you'll like my friends" Silver said taking Sonic's hand, making Sally look in frustration, as the white hedgehog lead the blue hedgehog away.

"Thanks..." Sonic mutters, Silver only smiles "I can't let her ruin your spirits...you smile is the most precious thing to me"

"Anata no homekotoba wa kawaīkedo yasuppoi (Your compliment is cute but cheesy)" Sonic snickers.

"Thank you I try..." Silver admits, with a small chuckle.

"Congratulations Silver~" Blaze smiled, hugging her best friend. Who hugged her back, "I knew you could find someone special" she continued. She turned her attention to Sonic, and noticed the armband she held her hand out to her, "Congratulations on the Surgery...I'm Blaze, Princess of Sol" she smiled.

"T-thank you...I'm Sonic, Princess of Metropolis" Sonic said.

Elise takes her hand, "And I'm Elise, Princess of Soleanna" Sonic blinks out of confusion.

"It's confusing I know....Sol is the name of an island, Soleanna is just the capital of the island" Blaze explained.

Sonic nodded, the rest of the meeting the other royalties, who were rather supportive of the Sonic, and the the marriage, the only one that wasn't was Sally. Soon it was time for the slow dance to start, the music started, and Silver holds out his hand to Sonic. "May I have this dance? Princess" he asked. Sonic nodded taking his hand and the two make it to dance floor, "If your nervous just follow my lead~" he tells Sonic.

The dance felt like something out of a Disney movie, but was nice, it was only natural for the two that the ball is about to have the first dance, the dance ended with single twirl and small dip than the others started to join in the swaying of the slow dance. Sonic just nuzzles into Silver's chest, she didn't know what she was so worried about, this was the best moment of her life, her only problem was wanting to live free not as a Princess, but she knows in order to get married to Silver she had to go back to old title, but afterwards she knows Silver will be happy with ever she decides.
