Stuck in the Future

Things had been okay for the Royal Couple, it still wasn't easy for the two to take care of a two year old, let alone one of them having a hard time with keeping his Alpha Pheromones under control around his wife.

But with Ember around Silver found it easier to distract himself with her around him.

But he still had to control himself when was just the two of them, with the two year old who is now able to walk and run, it always left Sonic exhausted and not in the mood, it also left him exhausted, as well.

Silver still holds Sonic up for that promise, which she never forgot, with this new chapter in their lives, patients was the key.

Other than that things had been rather normal, the two visit the Kings often since it was only right for them to be a part of Ember's life, so that she knows what family she is apart off, but can also be herself.

When she met her other grandparents she was rather shy at first but was happy to see them, Sonic to it upon herself to start video calling her parents when they couldn't visit cause of Royal Business.

"What do you think?" Sonic asked Ember that she carried, the kitten who is now the size of a football but still two, and with little cat fangs. They were looking at a family portrait of Sonic, who was wearing a fancy black dress and a tiara on her head, and Silver were is wearing a matching suit with his crown on his head, and Ember who was wearing a black dress with black slip on shoes and small tiara on her head. "Pwetty!" She purred.

Sonic chuckles, and gives her a small kiss on the cheek. Making her giggles.

Sonic puts her down, she hugs Sonic's leg until she saws Silver and runs up to him "Uppie..." she whimpered. Silver picks her up, he gives her a gentle kiss on the forehead. "Hey Princess, had fun with Mommy, the evening~"

"Yeah!" Ember purred, "I'd say...Rouge wouldn't stop spoiling her" Sonic admits shaking her head.

"I don't blame her...I mean look at her, she's adorable~" Silver admits nuzzling into the pink cat who purrs and giggles holding her bunny stuffed toy.

"Well she did cause a man search for the Royal Guards cause she lost her Bunny at the park" Sonic admits "But meh, it's just a phase she'll grow out of"

"Speaking of...Didn't Rouge tell you about the news?" Silver asked.

Sonic nodded "I'm happy for them...I'm glad that Knux moved on and got together with someone" she wraps her arms around Silver she nuzzle Ember. "But I'm happy for this family...and I couldn't ask for a better one~"

"That was corny..."

"Urusai! Watashi wa kenkō ni narou to shite imashita! (Shut up! I was trying to be wholesome!)" Sonic snaps folding her arms, Silver lets Ember down who went to play in the play room with her toys, Silver wraps his arms around her, "Come on...You know Ember can't understand you when you speak in your native language"

"Ī, sore wa watashi ga anata ni chikau koto ga dekiru koto o imi shimasu (Good, it just means that I can swear at you)" Sonic smirks up at Silver, the white hedgehog only holds her chin. "Then I'll have to wash your dirty mouth...Princess~"

Sonic presses her forehead onto Silver's chest fur hiding her blushing face. "Itoshi teru, baka (Love you, stupid)"

"Love you too, Gorgeous" Silver admits, planting a kiss onto her lips, who kissed his back.
