Aizawa is sitting on top of a city rooftop, the cool night air flowing through his thick hair. It has been a few weeks since the attack on his mate and the stepping up of Izuku, his "hero" work has suffered a bit due to the events of his life. He sighs as he watches over the bright night life. He saves a woman from a mugging, stops a purse robbery and beats the shit out of the members of the pack who attacked Hizashi.
He wants to kill them but hears someone coming and escapes before he is identified. As midnight nears, the alpha heads to the radio station of his mate. Wiping blood off his face he enters the building and slumps into his beanbag in the studio.
"Hey Hiko," he grumbles, sleepily. He addresses the red headed spider like woman sitting at the control board.
"Sup sleepyhead," the young red head says, yawning. She sips her tea before continuing to filter calls, cue commercials, and music. She is an earpiece for the pack, her cover story is that she works to get insider information for Mic's talk show. While this is true, the pack listens to the show and then gets the further information they want or need from her. It is simple and somehow the heroes haven't figured it out yet, but they aren't the smartest.
Aizawa falls asleep while waiting for Mic to finish his show. Yamada smiles at his dark mate, who looks peaceful when he is asleep. Hiko clears her throat before he can wake up the other male.
"Before you wake him, some of the heroes have gotten suspicious about both of your hero activities. They seem to think that something is off about your work, as you haven't been stopping any high-profile cases that have been assigned to you. Since we go into the first heat of the season starts next week, and they think that he is the omega, they feel like that is interfering with his work," Hiko says tapping one of her limbs on the control board, "Some of them are trying to make it illegal for omegas to become heroes and sidekicks or police officers."
"Who is saying that?" he growls, knowing full well that both omegas and alphas, villains and heroes, are distracted this close to the first heat.
"That flaming bitch," she shudders gently. The flame hero scares her, knowing the story of his children and those who don't go quietly. He taps his chin and gets mischievous look in his eye that makes Hiko shudder. Aizawa begins to stir, the smell of his mate being upset brings him out of his slumber.
"Sleep well, my dear?" Hizashi says, absentmindedly. His mate nods and sits up, rubbing his eyes.
"You were discussing something important," he states, waiting to be filled in.
"Apparently, a certain flaming asshole is starting to stir up shit." Yamada sighs, pinching his nose, "He wants to ban Omegas from being in hero-work in anyway shape or form. He is pointing out that you have seemed distracted, and I haven't been getting anywhere with my cases, as a reason to make it illegal. "
"The first heat of the season starts in three days...even All for One is distracted!" Shouta growls. "No villain in their right mind would be out and about! For fuck sakes All might hasn't brought a villain in the past week!" His black eyes are alight with anger and the need to protect his pack.
Mic sets a hand on his mate's arm and sighs, his worried green eyes glances at the red-haired spider sitting in the corner. She shrugs and climbs up the wall to a hammock and curls up.
"I'll stop by after my interview tomorrow. I think he is grumpy because he has no mate," Hikko chuckles. "Lock the door on your way out!" She hisses and waves a leg at them.
Mic's eyes widen ever so slightly, and he rushes his angry mate out the door. He locks the door and leans against it. Aizawa stands fuming, glares up and the sky, letting the words sink in.
"Come on hun, let's go home before someone stops us," Mic says gently, guiding the smaller male away. Not even a second later a excited scream stops them dead in their tracks. They turn slowly to see a young purple haired girl running towards them. Falling into there roles, Aizawa hides behind his mate. Despite this woman smelling like an alpha. He growls softly, and watches the woman warily.
"Present Mic! I'm a huge fan!" She squeals, her dark red eyes glint with excitement.
"Well, I'm always happy to meet a fan! You ya want a selfie!" He askes pulling out his phone. She nods and he puts an arm around her as he takes the picture.
"Will you sign my travel journal!" She askes, jumping a bit, holding it out. "Its my first day in Japan and I meet my favorite hero!"
"Whats your name listener?" Mic says with his signature smile, Shouta raises his eyebrow and looks her up and down.
"Jiyoki Nemuri!" She says quietly. Then looks around and smiles. "My aunt doesn't know I'm here to surprise her for her birthday!"
"Well, you can't get on campus without a chaperone." Aizawa grumbles, startling the young girl. "Come on, I want to go to bed." He sighs as Yamada hands the book back. He knew she looked and smelled familiar. He begins to walk towards the big school. It takes a second for the other two to catch up. Mic slides a protective\comforting arm around his grumpy mate.
"Auntie never mentioned she knew Present Mic!" Jiyoki squeals as she jogs to keep up with the two heroes. Shouta snorts, and is promptly ingnored by the young girl.
