After the nice long hugging session Simon had pulled away, "lay back down, be a good girl and relax okay baby? I don't want you tearing the stitches or falling I'll be right back with Price and Soap, we need to talk" I nodded my head in agreement as he gave me a small kiss and walked out as I made my way back to the bed. After a good ten minute wait and battle to try and stay awake the boys finally walked in. "God damn, you look like shit Angle, no offense Lass" Soap laughed "you're one to talk Johnny" Simon huffed gently shoving his shoulder. I smiled at the two, "just ignore them, how are you feeling?" Price spoke sitting on the edge of the bed as Soap and Simon did the same. "I've definitely felt better, how come you two are here Captain?" "Long story short I just thought it would be better to have more people on the Mission" that's understandable, though I said that from the beginning I knew this Mission would be dangerous. "So, I hate to bring up the bad memories Y/n but we need to know what happened" "of course, it's not like I have a choice anyway, what do you want to know?" I smiled nervously, god I hope I don't start crying fuck I'm such a wimp. "Start from when you ran out the cabin" I took a deep breath then started talking. "Well when I was running I realized I should've just stayed, I shouldn't have listened to Simon when he told me to run and on my way back to the cabin I was hit in the back of the head and passed out" "right, we'll when you woke up what happened?" I sighed, trying to stay calm. "I woke up to the feeling of this woman, her name was Skyler throwing a bucket of water in my face and then some man came in, the one who was...dead on top of me. They explained who they were, apparently there's two hundred of them in this cult so they say, each one of them was injected with some virus they created to test how pure they were against the Devil, fucking insane I know. I guess a lot of them didn't make it but the man had said if I told them what we knew they would let me and Simon go, the lady said they had kidnapped him and someone had a gun pointed to his head as we spoke. Obviously I slightly lied in hopes they would just let us go, though clearly she had no intention on letting me leave because once I told them what I knew the man said he needed me join the cult, that I had no choice and Simon had to die no matter what, he told me he had to put down his own wife and that it was for the greater good, I begged him not to do this but he didn't listen and brought out a man in a skull mask like Simons, I had no choice but to believe him I didn't know they we're lying. I still done understand why they lied about it, what would be the purpose of killing him in front of me anyway? To make me feel like I had nothing to live for? Whatever the reason it worked because when they pulled the trigger it felt like I died along with him. I was screaming and crying as Skyler was telling me that they were going to prep me for the purification process, I didn't even care in the moment. She led me to a busted shower and gave me some clean clothes then when I finished she took me to a bedroom. The one you found me in, she left for a while and when she came back she was wounded thanks to you three I'm assuming so I took the advantage and killed her, I was about to leave when I guess now that I think about it I heard you three in the room next to me. I didn't realize it was you obviously and ran back to my room when that man attacked me, long story short I killed him then you three found me" I honestly can't believe I got through all of that without crying, I noticed how everyone in the room gave me a sad look, I felt Simon intertwine his hand with mine and gave it a gentle squeeze. "How about the car keys? How did you get them?" Soap asked, that's right I forgot and that. "When I killed Skyler I searched her body and found some keys, she also told me that they had a second base near the watch tower though she didn't say exactly where, to be fair I didn't give her time to" "still that's good information, look I don't know what's going on between you two but as long as it doesn't interfere with the mission or any others in the future I don't care as long as you're all happy I'm happy, can't believe I'm saying this but you're all like my own children and I love you kids so get some rest Y/n, I know that wasn't easy but it's all over now, I'll be back in a bit I need to make some phone calls". Price gave us a small smile as he left the room, everything he said was the sweetest thing I've ever heard him say. "Well I'll leave you two love birds be and go check up on our dear old dad, I'm glad your alright Y/n this team wouldn't be the same without you" he got up from the bed and walked towards me hugging me gently as I hugged back. It was a short sweet hug and soon he let go flashing us a smile as he walked out downstairs. Once he was gone I felt Simon pull me softly into his arms holding my waist. I yawned finally feeling relaxed as he kissed my head gently, "Can I tell you something?" Simon asked, "of course, what's up?" "When you were tied up, we were there" what does he mean?. "What do you mean?" I freed myself from his grasp and turned to face him. "When we arrived and walked in the building we saw that woman shove 'me' in front of you, I wanted to bust in there but price didn't want to compromise the mission, we watched her pull the trigger and I heard what you said" my heart was pounding, I don't know if I should be upset or concerned. I understand not wanting to compromise the mission but what the fuck, you're tell me this all could've been avoided?. Damn it whatever it's in the past now. Wait...what does he mean he heard me?.
