Neo's POV

I couldn't believe my luck when Coach Sivakorn announced that I would be sharing a room with Louis in our new dorm.

To be honest I was still experiencing some confusion regarding my feelings for Louis. But I knew that I was feeling some kind of unexplained attraction towards him.

I don't know if it had something to do with how small he looked in my eyes, maybe because of our height difference, or maybe it had something to do with how fragile he looked that made me want to protect him from all kinds of harm, I don't know, I just honestly don't know, but I felt the need to have him always at my side so that I could oversee his welfare. Damn it, I'm usually not like this with other people. I tend to be a self centered person. I tend to look out only for myself. But then Louis came along and... damn it what is this that I'm feeling towards him...

Louis' POV

With a fast beating heart I made my way to the new building that housed our university's basketball team.

I was actually not supposed to be staying in this dorm because I am not part of the team but for some reason Coach Sivakorn wanted me to live in the same dorm as the team, maybe because in case they needed my services immediately I was already there with them.

I showed my uni badge to the receptionist at the lobby and she unlocked one of her drawers and took out a key card and handed it to me.

"Room 351," was all she said as she handed out the key card to me.

"Thank you," I said, accepting the key card and walking towards the hallway where the elevators were.

My suitcase was big because I had a lot of stuff that I wanted to bring along wherever I went. It was heavy but I didn't care. What was important to me was that I had all the stuff I needed in one big suitcase.

I pressed for elevator service and waited for the elevator to come down from the sixth floor where it currently was.

Soon I heard the elevator ding as it reached ground level.

When the elevator doors opened I grunted as I lifted the suitcase a little bit so that its wheels would not get snagged by the set of metal protrusion with a tiny gap on the floor.

When I reached the third floor I stepped out of the elevator and set out to find the room assigned to me.

"Room 351" was what the receptionist had said to me.

I hoped hard that I would get to my room ahead of the rest of the basketball team and especially ahead of Neo whom Coach Sivakorn had assigned to be my roommate.

I had planned to get to the dorm early so that I could get a head start on settling down in my room without any distractions or interruptions.

No such luck.

After I slid my key card at the door, the sound of loud rap music greeted me.

Neo turned around at the sound of the door closing behind me.

"I've been waiting for you," he said in greeting, a big wide smile showing his pearly whites, his long arms outstretched as if waiting for me to run into them.

There was absolutely no way I was doing that.
