I.Czeslaw and his newly assigned battalion are currently preparing their gear for an expedition. The climate reports are saying that there that the environment is uninhabitable. So they will travel by APC, per Kyosti's instructions. The Admins were equipped with the AR2 Pulse Rifle and the AR3 Emplacement Gun. And others with the SMG1 and an RPG. Oh, and don't forget the Tau Cannon.

The Admins hop inside the Combine APCs and begin to drive towards the large door. The APCs drive up to the large door as it opens. Revealing the outside world through the tunnel. The APCs drive into the large tunnel as the door behind them closes. The Admins churn through the snow that had collected in the tunnel entrance as they make it to the surface. The green and lustrous grass is gone. The trees were too. All were replaced by a radioactive wasteland.

It didn't matter, their first objective was to check on the progress of the Arachnids at several key locations. First was the mining base we started from. The Admins travel through the desolate wasteland that is now Copper-9. Eventually, they make it to the mine. Their expectations were not that high. Most of them weren't expecting the Arachnids to make it. But when they arrived, they saw several Warrior and Tigers outside patrolling. The Admins were taken by surprise to see the bugs being able to survive this type of environment.

The Admins flash the APCs light to signal the Arachnids that they are friendly. The APCs stop just a few meters away from the mine entrance as some Arachnids walk up to them with curiosity. Only I.Czeslaw has to investigate the mining facility so the rest of the Admins stay on the surface. While I.Czeslaw has to survey an entire mining facility, the rest of the Admins decide to play soccer with the Arachnids. When I.Czeslaw comes back, he will find his Admins either on the ground or banging their fists against the APCs and or yelling at the sky in despair and disbelief. So you could tell who won the match... Somehow 💀.

The next place that was on the list was an old JcJenson Mall. It was in one of the cities that wasn't infested with Murder Drones. So they should be fine. The APCs drive through a highway but the Admins regret their decision when a part of the highway collapse, this not only trapped them on the highway forcing them to continue forward but there was a mass of cars in the way. Looks like they got some work to do. They don't have any Gravity or Physics Gun to move the cars and trucks out of the way. So for several hours straight, the Admins take turns pushing cars out of the way and off the highway. Progress sped up a bit when several Hopper bugs, who were scouting the surrounding area, came by and helped. With the help of the Hopper bugs, they got halfway across the highway. Meanwhile, I.Czeslaw is currently on top of his APC attempting to make radio contact with the Boreas Bunker.

They've been at this for hours and it looks like they won't finish the mission by morning. Kyosti is expecting him to return by morning. But with this mess, he'll have to tell him they won't be home by morning. The snow cut visibility halfway, the radio is only illuminated by a blue light.

Radio [Kyosti]: "Ah, I.Czeslaw. It is almost morning, have you completed your mission?"

Admin I.Czeslaw: "No, we accidentally took a turn onto a highway. A part of it collapsed and now we're stuck clearing a path through the abandoned cars."

Radio [Kyosti]: "Damn, well, be careful and get back here by day's end. Copy?"

Admin I.Czeslaw: "Roger Roger."

The radio goes silent after I.Czeslaw chucks the equipment back into the APC. He then climbs back into the APC and starts the engine to warm up.

Admin I.Czeslaw: "This is going to be a long day..."

Finally, after several hours of hard work, they were finally able to clear the road. As a reward for their service, the Hopper bugs were given several boxes full of meat. Which they gladly took and left. The engines took a while to start because of the cold but eventually, the convoy was on the move again. The APCs got off the highway and got into the city. By now, the sun was rising. But the cold stayed. At least it was bright out.

The convoy makes it to the mall as several Admins get out of their APCs and stretch from all the hard labor they endured. They should've helped I.Czeslaw surveyed the mining facility. Cause he didn't help at all. Anyway, the Admins enter the mall and encounter several Warrior bugs but no Tigers. It seems this colony hasn't developed that far but from extra observation, it was determined that this colony could grow twice as large as the one in the mining facility. To ensure this, the Admins helped fix the structural integrity of the mall that was under the Arachnid's control. As well as some other parts too. After that, they camped in the mall and left a few hours later.

Last facility. An old WDI bunker that was cleared out by JcJenson before the core's destruction. Hopefully, they could make it back before the day's end. The convoy slowly approaches the bunker entrance. It was sealed shut, luckily, the Arachnids dug a large hole right next to it. Like the other two places, they check the integrity of the complex while assisting as best as they can. The Admins finish up their work and start to leave. But one Admin decided to venture deep into the complex. After many twists and turns, he made it to a cryo pod facility. In some of the cryo pods were many WDI Drones. Deciding to do a small hint of trolling, the Admin took one of the drones and rushed back up. Finding a nearby Worker bug, he got its attention and gave it the drone and put a post-it note onto its body, and told it to rush back up to the Admins. The bug quickly rushed as fast as possible to the surface.

Meanwhile, the pods started to reactivate and their inhabitants slowly got out.

WDI Drone #1: "Ugh, jeez, how long have we been out?"

WDI Drone #2: "According to the computer here... at least a few years?"

WDI Drone #1: "Um, hey, who's that?"

The drones who woke up turned to the figure. Said figure was shrouded in the darkness of the hallway. One of the drones took the flashlight and shined it at the figure. The light illuminated the figure and showed it to an Admin.

WDI Drone: "An Admin! Quick, press the red alert!"

Admin: "No no no no wait wait-"
