Jimmy had to end his facetime call with Abby early to go to his evening film review meeting. He hated that she was now so far away but he knew she needed to go so she could pursue her NFL commissioner dreams and he could follow his dreams of being an NFL quarterback. He stayed in Illinois while she went to the University of Minnesota because of their sports management programs. This is the farthest apart they've been from each other since they met 14 years ago.

-----

Abby and Jimmy were practically inseparable for all of their childhoods, always in the same class and being neighbors. Their older brothers Blake and Billy were best friends which just brought them even closer. Anywhere she went one of them always tagged along , Jimmy made sure of that if he had football. The times Abby and Jimmy weren't together, she was with Jessie and Tasha. Jimmy knew she needed her girl time but that didn't mean he didn't miss her like crazy because he couldn't get her off his mind .

-----

After her call with Jimmy, Abby was in her dorm on her laptop making sure she had everything for her first day of classes when once again her phone lit up, vibrating. She answered without even looking at who called.

"Hey Jim- oh hey Jessie!"

"Well hello to you too Mrs Garoppolo." Jessie said with a sarcastic tone.  Abby rolled her eyes at the name but it secretly made her heart skip a few beats.

"Glad to know you still love us too Abigail!" Tasha added in as she walked in with a suitcase.

"Natasha, is that what I think it is??" Abby practically yelled.

"Yes it is roomie!!" Tasha yelled dropping her things and pulling Abby into a bone crushing hug.

"Oh cmon that's not fair! Now I'm the lonely one." Jessie said over the phone.

"Oh Jessie! You know we love you, we convinced you go to Pitt to follow your dreams!" Tasha replied now pulling up a chair next to Abby.

"Yeah, Yeah, you're right, it is pretty great here. Especially being on a full ride too!" Jessie said while laughing.

"Well since we're talking about you, how are you settling in?" Abby asked.

"Well the basketball coach here is just fantastic! I've already learned so much and its only been 2 weeks." Jessie replied with a smile.

"Ugh its only been 2 weeks? Feels like 2 years since we've seen you." Abby said with a sad tone.

"Aw does Mrs G miss me?" Jessie said while she and Tasha giggled at the nickname. Abby's mind sucking her into a daydream of the future she's always wanted with her best friend, even though they always swore it off. She's always wanted to be his wife, from the minute she laid eyes on him, he was hers.

Abby was pulled out of her day dream by Tasha asking about the email notification that popped up on her laptop. She clicked on it, skimmed the email then jumped up and down chanting "I GOT IT!" I GOT IT!"

Tasha and Jessie were stunned and had no clue what she got but they hadn't seen her this excited since Jimmy asked her to go to Italy with him and his family summer of sophmore year.

"WHAT DID YOU GET?" they both said in unison.

Abby stopped jumping around to answer her very curious friends.
