"Fuck" you mumbled having finally reached the test score in the grade book, "30%" was your score, your mom is gonna be so mad. Feeling your heart begin to beat faster, palms sweaty, out of breath as your pace increased to arrive at your house faster. Running up the stairs to your bedroom you collapsed against your light purple walls, breathing speeding up faster until you were grasping at your throat trying to get oxygen in. Now having thrown off your sweatshirt in an attempt to cool your sweating, shaking body down you were sat sobbing in only your ripped jeans, and shoes as well as a bra scratching at your throat and chest to try and breathe.

"Thanks D, I have to head in though, I think    y/n was getting home early today, she didn't have anything after school. See you tomorrow?" Michaela asked as she climbed out of her friends car "See ya! Also tell y/n I say hi, seems like I haven't seen her in forever!" Drea smiled, pushing her hair behind her ear before rolling up their car window and driving away. Walking in to this house Michaela was confused, where was her daughter? "Y/n? Y/n! Where are you!" She called out walking towards your room. Pushing open the door she found her daughter on the floor, struggling to breathe. "Hey hey look at me look at me. Follow my breathing. In, 1 2 3, out 3 2 1." She grabbed your hand, placing it on her chest for you to feel her breathing and copy it, which you tried to do as best you could.

"Y/n honey look at me, it's okay just breathe. In, 1 2 3, out 3 2 1. See your doing so well. Keep breathing, your doing amazing baby." She stayed squatting in front of you making sure you could breathe. Once it had returned to normal she decided to ask what had happened. Although panic attacks for her didn't always have a reason they did sometimes and she thought it was odd given this was the first panic attack she'd seen you have. "Y/n? Babe what happened?" She asked gently. "My grade. Please don't be mad, is studied really hard. I'm sorry" you were crying again now. "Y/n it's okay, whatever you got on that test I know how hard you studied. How about we go out to dinner to celebrate just how hard you studied. You know all I care about is if you try with grades and school." "Can we go to your favorite restaurant" you asked her and she smiled, "of course we can"

"I should probably fix myself though" she said and you chuckled "you look perfect Mom, I'm the one without a shirt right now" "alright well I'm gonna leave and you can do that while I fix myself" she stood now walking out but just before she left she turned to look at you "I promise it's okay" she smiled at you before heading to her room.
