Figuring out how to start anything can be difficult and writing your memoirs or life story is no different, even harder sometimes. For me the hardest part is trying to think of a way to engage you, the readers, and keep you interested long enough to get you to the juicy parts. You know the bits I'm talking about, the ones that hook you right in the heart and don't let go, creating a bond with the writer that keeps you wanting to know more. Honestly though, how am I doing so far? I hope well enough to get you through some of the tedious and boring yet necessary pieces that help build the backdrop for that mental picture you're creating. To begin with all the names have been changed. The only reason for this is to keep me from being sued by my family. Do they sound dysfunctional yet? Whatever your answer, my rely is, in a very sarcastic tone "Just wait, it gets better".
