As your My First Glimpse

CHAPTER 4

Literally on the first day

While he and Kai are inside their apartment celebrating their second anniversary, Zane told Edward that he received a call later that evening. It was Ryce who called Zane and told him he needed to come to the bar because he was scared there wasn't a substitute for a vocalist. That's why Zane had to show up and push Kai from coming along.
despite the fact that ryce despises Kai more than his own life, however, Ryce was relieved to see Zane, " "there you are!" one of their bandmates said until ryce ask if he was ready, zane agreed
While Kai rounded the corner, his arms were crossed in such a way as to express annoyance at being forced to stay at the bar.

Zane pov

I am anxious when Kai glances at me, so tonight I decide to perform something I know will surprise him. The song I've prepared has not yet been public, but I composed it just for Kai.
Actually, I wanted him to be the first person to hear this song, but he was too upset to come with me.
As soon as I began to sing, he immediately started making his way toward the exit. I was very upset, but I kept going with the song because I didn't want to embarrass myself or my bandmates by abruptly stopping in the middle of it.

Morning

After a night of being entirely disturbed by what had happened, I had to gather myself before heading off to school on this day. That night, I went home and pretended everything was fine.
And my entire body is groaning with a hungover, and I'm feeling a little lightheaded.
Once I got downstairs, I saw my mom in her usual front-row seat. While my sister was sitting on the side of the table, to be honest when I sat down we couldn't hear much of the talk because of the distance of the table.

My mom urged me to come to her office once school was over for the day. This is obviously a lesson about business, which I have no interest in.

School

"Zane?" Edward called me out of the blue, and when I answered, he said, "I'm going to have a party," adding that he was especially looking forward to throwing one for the students from grades 10 and 11. "Okay," I replied, "aren't you excited? meeting junior high school is fun, since they are going to be a senior next year" Edward's plans to throw a party for just high school juniors and seniors confuse me. "Yehey," I taunt him, "be serious," he says irritably.

To my surprise, Edward just pulled out a piece of cardstock and handed it to me and the other person as an invitation. As for the other, I was wondering if Edward knew whether or not this student was in grade 10 or 11.

It's about half an hour till the next period starts, so I head back inside while Edward handles the invitation outside.

After meeting gracie

Aiden pov

When I bumped with Zane a while earlier, I believed he was merely going somewhere, so I was pleased when he finally arrived, yet, it turned out that he had to walk the same way that I'd utilized to reach Gracie.

Meeting Gracie was the happiest thing that had happened to me up until that point, and hearing Zane's voice and having him swiftly claims himself to be my friend was the cherry on top. I find that odd but basically don't care about the reasons behind it.
I was hoping to see him again tomorrow.

The next day

It was then that he greeted me, "Hi?  Aiden, right?" While I lift my head to face him because Zane's sudden approach had caught me off guard, Slightly embarrassed, I answered, "Yes, I am" I said "sorry i forgot to give you my number" I was just curious to what he said, "ummm, okay?."
