Love starts
Aiden
June 4, 2015
It was the early rotten morning, Aiden has been trying to come up with ideas on how he can survive and live a fresh start as soon as he woke up a while ago. He sighed as he walked his way inside the school. For starters, this school was for brilliant young minds. One would think, how a mere grade 10 student like him who considers himself to be just a middle individual can maneuver his way through this kind of environment. Aiden was sure he was different from the other students who really have the brains to think and figure every single thing out of the corners of their own minds. He wasn't like that as far as he was concerned but he has no other choice but to keep up his pace. As he made his way through the school grounds, he can already see a bunch of other students loitering around. Some were chattering and having joyful conversations with their friends and there were also some who obviously loathe Monday mornings just by the look on their faces. Aiden on the other hand cannot really be bothered and just kept on walking.
There's nothing Aiden hates more than the first day of school, the sun was up and bright above but he can't really feel the warmth coming from it. He strides forward through the sea of people with a slight furrow on his brows and made his way to his friends. His hands suddenly feel so frigid to his side so he decided to put them both inside the pocket of his pants.
His friends were talking to each other by the time he sat beside them. Aiden exchanged small greetings with them as they continued on with their conversation. He feels so overwhelmed ever since he went back home yesterday. It's been two months and he hasn't seen his friends not until today. Being in the province for that period of time made him miss them, not that he would admit it out loud though.
Aiden pov
"Aiden? It was so nice to see you," she said. Her accent sounded so funny as if she was trying so hard to appear clever by teasing him which she obviously failed to show because she just looked downright mocking for him with the smile she was exhibiting right now. I pressed my lips together as I also tried hard to lift the corners of my mouth for it to resemble a small smile as I greeted her back. "Oh... Uhm yeah hi. Please don't do that again" I felt the bothered expression on my face suddenly turn into anguish. I was still trying so hard to maintain the smile on my face as I said those words. I'm not really in the mood to be playful so after some seconds I dropped my small smile and showed her a neutral expression, maybe she would understand how serious I am. Hastily, her expression also changed into something intense "Are you kidding me?" she asked and then I laughed. She looked at me quizzically and let out a laugh as well as if we both know that we're just being sarcastic.
I breath a sigh of relief and laid back on the bench. Seeing the astonishing park inside of the school is the nicest thing I felt, as I keep my bag on my lap, I paid attention to Andi. She talks as if she has endless topics to share. Gilb just stayed silent and tried to be attentive. I felt my eyes and ears strained for a bit.
"Andi? Did you dye your hair?" the sight of her hair makes me distracted, it's a short hair with an ombre color of black with red down the edge of the hairline "Yeah? Why?" she asked, turning to look at me with a smile "Nothing. It just looks cool." I praised, quickly reminding her of the hair color regulation in the school, "But does your mom allows you to dye your hair?" I wondered because her mom was the principal of the school "Yeah. She can't win an arguement with me." Andi said, on her face you can see how complicated Andi's behavior towards people. She doesn't really care about her image, especially towards her mother.
A glimpse of a group of people passed by while we were on the bench inside of the school waiting for almost ten minutes before we go to our respective rooms. One of them that I truly noticed even the back of my eye. From his physique alone, it already tells me that this guy is so fucking handsome. This is the first time that I saw him and I feel enthralled. He wears the senior year's uniform, he looks fresh and gentle as he walks, showing his smile that makes him poise, however, compared to me I'm not as confident as he is, he's way more precise, despite that I'm not that sort of a person as him.
