It was a Saturday. 15 December to be exact. Andy was about to head out for the gym because he made a promise to himself that he was going to get fit and take care of himself more.

He was determined to get his life in order because college was not going to be easy. He met a gym partner called Michael. They were newbies in the gym so it made sense that they would obviously make the perfect combination.

So Andy had approached Michael and they conversed.

"Are you new here?"

"I am actually. How did you know? It is the lean body?" Andy exclaims.

"Funny you say that I am also lean but I do have a bigger body."

"Well to me you look like a regular."

"I appreciate the rather subtle compliment."

That was how they met and became best of friends. Simple link ups. Boys being boys that's what it was. Everyday was about the gym. They could not shut up about it but the fever only lasted for the holiday season.

However, they were two great family orientated people. Andy lived with his mother and two sisters with a dog named Spike. Ironically, Spike was a chihuahua by the way. It was named like the great city of Edinburg with an area of seven square kilometers. It was small.

Andy's father was in the military for some period of time. That meant he was not around all the time. Especially for Christmas. It was sad.

Michael's was the baby of the household. He was an orphan since he was five years old. Lost both his parents to a horrible tornado that turned Rivonia upside down. Kindly enough he was adopted by the best step parents he could ever have. Now he is taking care of them as well. Helping out at home was no hassle.

Time passed and it was already time for college.

The two guys realised that they are going to the same school and campus and class. This was a bonus. They already had someone to be with. Preparations for back to school where buzzing as everyone wanted to get hold of the deals of cheap stationery.

"Kids still the same." Andy exclaimed. "Fortunately we do not do these kind of stuff anymore. We have outgrown that stage. We are adults."

Andy was not a cocky person but rather too confident sometimes. He was just excited for the new world he was about to be exposed to. He had no idea on how to handle it but he was optimistic about it. He oozed confidence. Except around girls which proved to be a problem. Everything was ready and all that was left was to enter the premises of campus and look for the first class.

The big day was finally here and Andy the student was beginning a fresh life in college. His whole family was there to support and send their goodbyes to their flying eagle.

He had never seen something as big as that school building. It was six stories high and it was visible from space. Now that is what you call magnitude.

But there was a problem. He had no idea where to go. He was like a deer blasted by headlamps in the dark nights. He decides that now is the perfect time to turn around and bump into someone.

THUD! SPLASH!
Andy had never been such a beam of light. She lit up his heart. She looked Latino. She seemed like an international student. Andy was starstruck. He could not believe his eyes.

"hey! Watch where you are going!" She said.
Well that was a bust.
"I am so sorry."
"No just keep quiet. I hate when a men starts rambling."
"Please can I make it up to you? It's the least that I can do."
"And how do you plan on doing that Superman?"
"By replacing that coffee."
"Are you courting me?"
"I am just being a gentleman. Come on."
"OK fine. After that you outta my life."
"Deal."
