Anyways, this is actually kinda inspired by a Rui Kamishiro x Reader fanfic I found not too long ago.

And, no, this isn't a Rui Kamishiro x Reader, it's just, I guess, a self insert?

•3rd POV•

"Grrrr, come on, man.", Milo growled, slowly starting to get pissed at a certain rythme game he enjoys playing in his free time.

He was playing a game called "Project SEKAI", a game made for mobile devices that features some Vocaloids.  Milo had grown fond of the game after giving it a second chance (the first time he tried it, he ended up having to delete the app not too long after due to storage issues on his iPad, and he was also a dumbass and didn't know how to play it).

At the moment, Milo was playing a song called "Machine gun Poem Doll", one of the hardest songs in Project SEKAI, being a level 31 ok Expert.  Milo was frustrated due to having to revive himself multiple times, wasting his gems.

The song finishes and Milo exhales loudly.

"About damn time this song ends.", Milo says, his arms were kind of hurting from using his thumbs and basically straining them.

He exited out of the song list and he saw an exclamation mark in the top right corner.  He tapped on it to see what was going on, and saw there was a new announcement... Wait... There was never a sudden announcement that appeared when he played for a while.  Curious, he went to see what it was about.

"Introducing a new way to experience the stories of the units?  The hell does that mean?", Milo said, in a confused yet intrigued voice.  He noticed at the bottom of the announcement, there was a button that said "Sign Up for Beta Testing".  Way too interested, Milo tapped the button, and signed up.  What was interesting was that you got choose the unit you wanted to experience the stories in.  He knew that his main group he chose when he first started was Vivid Bad Squad, but he didn't really want to view the stories from it again.  He decided to choose WonderlandxShowtime, a unit in which he became fond of.

After finishing the sign up application, the app crashed.

"Wha-", Milo said.  The app had crashed on him a couple of times, so he wasn't all too surprised.  He tapped on the app again, but instead of being greeted by one of the characters saying "Sega", he was immediately greeted by Miku.

"Hello there, player!  You've recently signed up for the beta test of the new way of experiencing the stories of WonderlandxShowtime.  I would like to tell you a few things before I can let you into the beta.", Miku said.  Milo was very confused.  He honestly thought it was just a joke, since it was rare for him to actually be accepted into beta testing.  The last time, which was the first time, he actually got accepted was for another game that had unfortunately had the servers shut down after a while.

"The first rule is...", Miku went on about the rules.  They kinda just flew over Milo's mind since it was basic things, but what really caught his attention was the final rule.

"And finally, this beta testing will take a bit for you, the player, to get used to."

"Wait huh?  What does that me-", before Milo could finish his question, his phone screen glowed a bright light.  Milo quickly closed and covered his eyes, as his eyes weren't used to it so suddenly.  When he opened them, he noticed something coming out of his phone.
