Chapter 3

Varian's POV

we were laying on the ground now laughing. "I think i still need to practice" i say still laughing. "You think?" Cassandra says. Both of us laugh again. I suddenly feel someone hug me really tightly. I look down to see who hugged me. "Hello, hugo" I say to him, smiling softly. He glares at me and i hug him tighter. Cassandra gets up. "We need to get you back to old Corona." She says. I pick up hugo bridal style. "HEY" he screams. Cassandra stifles laughter. "Lets get going" she says with a smug smile towards hugo. Hugo glares at her. I missed this.

Quirin's POV

Life has been going well. I really do miss Varian though. But... hes old enough to be able to make his own decisions. And i have held on too tight for too long. I hope he is doing well. This was how his mother went missing, i dont want to lose him too. There is knocking at the door. I walk over to the door and open it. When i see whos there my eyes widen. "Varian?" I ask in a quiet tone. "DAD!" He crys lanching himself into my arms. I hug him tightly. "You're home! Oh my son, i missed you so much" i say to him. "Oh my gosh! It feels like its been forever! Theres so much to talk about! Where do i even start?" He says in a matter of seconds. "We can talk about that, lets just get you inside." I say to him. "Can my friends come in?" He asks with a smirk on his face. I look up and see a short kid dressed in red, a girl no taller than varian, and a kid with blonde hair with glasses. "Sure!" I say to him. All four of them walk in and i could tell that the kid with the blonde hair is nervous. We get to the living room and sit down. "So dad, these are my friends, Yong" he points to the short kid. "Nuru" he points to the girl. "And hugo" he points to the blonde kid. "Guys, this is my dad as you know though" he says flicking his wrist. Hugo smirks and then Nuru slaps him. They start to argue. I look over at varian and he looks annoyed. Yong whispers something to them both and them they go silent. "Apologize to eachother." Varians says crossing his arms and glaring at them. "Sorry..." both of them say quietly. "Sorry about them!" Varian says turning toward me. "It's fine, im just happy you're back." I say to him.

Varian's POV

We were laying in bed now. Its so weird being back after so long.i turn around to look at hugo.i just stare at him. His eyes open and hes just staring back at me. Were hold eye contact. "You like watching people sleep?" He whispers and i roll my eyes. "No i dont i just cant sleep." I whisper back. He gets up. "Where are you going?"i whisper. "Outside. Wanna come with me?" He whispers back. "Sure". We snuck through the house and were on the roof now. "It feels weird being back." I say to hugo. he looks at me and raises an eyebrow. "I dont know its just-" i say until i get cut off. "I have feelings for you." Hugo says and he covers his mouth. My eyes widen and i could feel heat on my cheeks. " i shouldnt have said anything" he says getting up. I grab his hand. "Hugo. I have feelings for you too." I say staring into his eyes, our faces are getting closer and closer. our lips touch. It felt like a million fireworks were going off in my head. I put my hands on his cheeks. Soon enough he breaks the kiss. "Goggles, will you be my boyfriend?" He asks. "I just kissed you, you idiot of course i will be your boyfriend!" I say smiling at him. He kisses me again. This feeling will never get old. He breaks the kiss again. "We should go back to bed. He says grabbing my hand. I nod and squeeze his hand. We evetually got back to the room. I automatically lay down and he lays down next to me. I hug him tightly and kiss his forhead. He cuddles into me.

Nuru's POV

Damn it Nuru! Get up already! I sit up and look at the clock on the wall. 6:53 PM... i stretch and get up. I see yong sleeping peacefully. Im so happy i got to meet him... I look over at varian who had hugo cuddled into him.. WAIT WHAT? I slap my hands over my mouth. I can NOT wake them up. I sigh and quietly walk out of the room. The sun is just starting to set. Damn. Well just goes to finding out that your bestfriends mom possesses him and one of your other friends reveal that they are a traitor.. i go outside and there is a nice breeze coming from the southwest. I grab my journal and start charting stars. The full blue moon is tonight so im really excited about that! I wonder how it would look from the kingdom.. i hear the door open and see varian looking down. "Oh, hey varian, we slept in late so sorry if you wanted me to wake you up." I say to him. "Its fine. Im still a little tired though." He says back to me. "Want to chart the stars with me?" I ask. "No thank you. Im going out. I will be back in a bit." He says. I raise an eyebrow but nod and continue  charting the stars. After a few minutes, the sky starts to glow dark blue. I look up and the moon looks.. more bluer than a normal blue moon.. Hugo suddenly barges out. "WHERES GOGGLES?" he asks frantically. "Uhm he just left that way why?" I say poining to where he walked away. "Whats happening?" I ask myself.
