28. Road to Disasters

Joss threw a distasteful look at the three girls walking behind them and pursed his lips but unable to contain himself, he whispered to his girlfriend. "When did I ask you to bring them along, Jane?"

Jane blinked. Then hastily looking at her friends who all looked around the large company with wide eyes and a bit too much excitement, she turned to her boyfriend, holding on to his arm. "Honey... I didn't mean to, they just heard and I don't know why or what they assumed but they were all ready to come along. I'm sorry..." she looked down with a guilty face and Joss just sighed. Now what was he to say to her. Not like he could just refuse the women when they stood there at the door, waiting for him along with his girlfriend. And he so wasn't in mood for her sulky show or to waste another evening taking her and her leech of friends out for shopping. Why even was Jane friends with such lot was beyond him.

So he just smiled and refrained from speaking as he let Jane hold onto his arm and walked along the reception area, unaware of the receptionist eyeing him and the head to feet, luxury covered herd of women with him who hurriedly picked the phone to inform other gossiping women at the floor Joss worked on about the boss' son's real girlfriend.

"Wayar, you have such a big and exquisite company!" Flying Beauty exclaimed once they reached his floor's lounge and Joss smiled thinly.

"Em... would you guys sit around and have drinks before looking around?" he asked but before they could answer, his phone rang, his father calling and enquiring about the mess he'd caused by bringing along so many girls. He just sighed and agreed to come to his office right away. He already knew this would happen, he wasn't even happy bringing his girlfriend there but she had these loud money diggers tagging along, his dad was sure to find out.

He turned to smile at Jane. "I need to be em... in a meeting. You guys want to go back, I don't really know when I'd be free"

"Oh, we'll just wait!" Said Regina. "Not like we have anywhere else to be"

Joss pursed his lips and nodded before smiling thinly. "Of course, you don't, Pim(her real name)" he sighed. "Why don't you guys sit here for time being then? I'll ask someone to bring you refreshments"

"Ah, Wayar..." Flying Beauty giggled as she stepped closer to him. "Em... I was wondering, since we're already here, why don't you et us see Baramee Beam?"

Joss blinked. "What? Aye, that's not appropriate!" he said sternly. "He's my employee and I don't want him to know who I am!"

"Oh, I'm sorry, I offended you? I didn't mean to!" She was quick to act.

"Stop harassing him" Jane hugged his arm, acting all sweet and batting her lashes up at him. "Though... I was curious too..."

Joss sighed and seeing him weakening, Flying Beauty smirked at the others and Janistar hurried to speak.

"Yeah, you could maybe, just ask him to look after us please?"

Joss sighed and nodded before walking outside to the floor secretary, telling her to call New to tend to his guests before walking away towards the elevators. Sometimes, the pressure from dad and the trouble dating Jane brought thanks to her friends just made him want to dump her. If only she wasn't so pretty.

New batted his lashes, resembling a deer caught in headlight with the way the four vultures stared at him from head to toe.

Ah, I am a skilled IT guy, not an errand boy! He mentally screamed but to the girls he smiled.
