I slowly opened my eyes, seeing a bright white light blinding me in an instant. Rolling around I felt warm, but it was comforting. "Wh..where..." I whisper under my breath and the throbbing pain that lingered in my head. I turned around, seeing Chloe. Sitting on a chair, her arms crossed over her chest and her chin rested on her chest. She's asleep...

I.. am I in a hospital? I sit up and hold my head, letting out a groan, then I heard a grown coming from my side. "Chloe?" I asked. Her eyes opened like clear ponds as she looked at me.

"Max!" she said and threw herself at me, almost knocking me down back onto the bed. "I was so worried, what happened?" she asked as she looked at me, I see she had a bloody cloth on her lap. I guess she tried to keep my nose from bleeding..

"Chloe I'm fine.. I just blacked out again."

"Where you using your power?"

"No, it just happened randomly."

"While you where on your date?" her voice teasing

"Shut up." I said shoving her playfully. "It wasn't a date."

"Sure, anyway how are you feeling? Do you need anything?" She asked, worry suddenly showing in her eyes again as she looked at me. I didn't mean to worry her this much, then again she is always worrying about me, That I couldn't stop her even if I really wanted too.

"Nah, I'm alright." I said smiling at her, she was hella worried.

wait, hella? Wow. I took a deep breath and smiled still. "Its alright." I repeated, though she reached her hand out and gently moved my bangs out of my eyes, causing me to blink in confusion. This was odd even for Chloe. But I looked into her bright blue sapphire eyes, full of wonder and concern. "Chloe I'm-" before I could finish telling her I was alright she leaned down, resting her chin on my shoulder, breathing into my neck softly. I blushed softly as her warm breath tickled the skin of my neck. I sighed softly and wrapped my arms around her back, hugging her softly just to try to calm her down, at least she wasn't crying, I wouldn't be able to handle it if she was crying. I would cry to, knowing myself.

"Sorry..." Chloe said, I took a breath and shook my head, she softly cupped my cheek and sighed. My blue haired punk best friend, was in such a vanurable state right now... seeing her like this broke my own heart. I couldn't help but let a tear escape my eyes as I looked into her blue eyes. they seemed to not hold a single sin, when deep down, we know that was wrong..
