Jason and Anna stood outside their highschool eating their breakfast. "That was good ." Anna said licking her fingers. Jason nodded in agreement. Anna hugged him and walked inside the school for what seemed like the millionth time. She started looking for her best friend Paul. She didn't find him so she sighed and walked to her locker. She froze halfway down the hall. She couldn't believe her eyes. Was Connor really leaning on her locker? Connor smiled and waved her over.
"Hey Anna. Wow you look amazing. I have a question for you."
"Um alright..." Anna said as she slowly walked up to him.
"You seem nervous, well don't be."
"O-okay"
"So what are your plans for tomorrow?"
"I'll probably study for the mid term exams. Why?" She said confused because she had just saw her with a girl a few minutes ago.
"Would you like to grab some pizza with me?" He asked with a charming smile.
"Sure... Wait like a date?"
"Yeah. I'll meet you I'm the parking lot after school tomorrow" he walked away before Anna could respond.
"Well okay, that was interesting..." she said to herself as she opened her locker.
Paul finally walked up to her. "Hey tomato" he said chuckling softly.
"What's so funny?"
"You should see how dark you're blushing."
"Blushing?" She asked as she started to feel heat on her cheeks.
" Yeah, but are we still going to the movies tomorrow?"
"Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry Paul. I forgot and I agreed to go on a date with Connor." Anna said hugging Paul
"It's okay. The most popular guy in school asked you out. You finally got your dream come true." He said hugging her back."Now, you better get to class"he said smiling and looking into her eyes.
"Yeah" she said but she didn't move.
"Earth to Anna " he said waving his hand in front of her face.
"Oh sorry" she said closing her locker and walking to class. She had to stop looking at Paul like that, she had other things to focus on other things.
